Revelation 1
1The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: 2Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

The number 7
The number 7 occupies so large a place in the works, and especially in the Word of God as being inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The word Seven occurs 287 times, or 7 x 41.
The word "Seventh," the fractional part, occurs 98 times, or 7 x 14.
The compound word "Seven-fold," occurs 7 times.
What about our savior Christ
"Jesus" occurs 14 times (2x7) (seven times alone, and seven times with "Christ")
"Lord"* occurs 21 times (3x7)
* The greek word for “Lord” gave some trouble. For the Concordance gave 22. This was good enough, being 2 x 11. But being in the Apocalypse (The Revelation ) we expected a multiple of seven, and this led to a more careful examination. We found that the RV omitted the greek represenation, on due authority, in Revelation 16:5 and 19:1, while it inserted it in 11:4 instead of the word "God," thus leaving exactly 21 as above.
Seven represents perfection.
In Revelation we will see perfect timing perfect, mercy foresight, perfect longsuffering, perfect love, perfect justice.
We have been learning that God does nothing by chance, the contents of the revelation is indeed most important but even the system of revelation tells us from whom the Bible originates.
Who designed this system of Revelation ? This is an important question.
It determines how we treat divine revelation, would we accept some and discard parts of the revealed word of God ?
To do this would be to reject God altogether
Who inspired Holy scripture and even this numbering system was it God or man?
Daniel 8:13
“Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?”
That Certain Saint in the Hebrew is The Holy one
He is in Hebrew. Palmoni "the numberer of secrets, or, the wonderful numberer .
