As the crowning act in the great drama of deception, Satan himself will personate Christ. The church has long professed to look to the Saviour's advent as the consummation of her hopes. Now the great deceiver will make it appear that Christ has come. In different parts of the earth, Satan will manifest himself among men as a majestic being of dazzling brightness, resembling the description of the Son of God given by John in the Revelation. [REV. 1:13-15.] The glory that surrounds him is unsurpassed by anything that mortal eyes have yet beheld. The shout of triumph rings out upon the air., "Christ has come! Christ has come!" The people prostrate themselves in adoration before him, while he lifts up his hands, and pronounces a blessing upon them, as Christ blessed his disciples when he was upon the earth. His voice is soft and subdued, yet full of melody. In gentle, compassionate tones he presents some of the same gracious, heavenly truths which the Saviour uttered; he heals the diseases of the people, and then, in his assumed character of Christ, he claims to have changed the Sabbath to Sunday, and commands all to hallow the day which he has blessed. He declares that those who persist in keeping holy the seventh day are blaspheming his name by refusing to listen to his angels sent to them with light and truth. This is the strong, almost overmastering delusion. Like the Samaritans who were deceived by Simon Magus, the multitudes, from the least to the greatest, give heed to these sorceries, saying, This is "the great power of God." [ACTS. 8:10.]
But the people of God will not be misled. The teachings of this false christ are not in accordance with the Scriptures His blessing is pronounced upon the worshipers of the beast and his image,--the very class upon whom the Bible declares that God's unmingled wrath shall be poured out.
And, furthermore, Satan is not permitted to counterfeit the manner of Christ's advent. The Saviour has warned his people against deception upon this point, and has clearly foretold the manner of his second coming. "There shall arise false christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. . . . Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." [MATT. 24:24-27, 31, 25:31; REV. 1:7; 1 THESS. 4:16, 17.] This coming, there is no possibility of counterfeiting. It will be universally known--witnessed by the whole world.
Only those who have been diligent students of the Scriptures, and who have received the love of the truth, will be shielded from the powerful delusion that takes the world captive. By the Bible testimony these will detect the deceiver in his disguise. To all, the testing time will come. By the sifting of temptation, the genuine Christian will be revealed. Are the people of God now so firmly established upon his Word that they would not yield to the evidence of their senses? Would they, in such a crisis, cling to the Bible, and the Bible only? Satan will, if possible, prevent them from obtaining a preparation to stand in that day. He will so arrange affairs as to hedge up their way, entangle them with earthly treasures, cause them to carry a heavy, wearisome burden, that their hearts may be overcharged with the cares of this life, and the day of trial may come upon them as a thief.

Sunday law watchers could miss the latter rain

To wait and watch for the Sunday law and do nothing is the biggest mistake Seventh day Adventist can make . It will come thats for sure. But while the surety of prophetic events are taking place are you sitting by and waiting ..This is the best time to arm ourselves with truth,this is perfect time to ensure we are within the ark.Spiritual perfection must be attained before the Sunday law comes.

While many are waiting for the Sunday law to kick start a series of events in the End Time and in Adventism, certain things need to be on our minds.
One, the latte rain will fall progressively. Then the sudden outpouring that everyone is expecting will come. If you are not involve in the sprinkling you must be careful that you are not one who will mist the Outpouring. Remember those who receive the sprinkling are most likely to receive the torrential downpour,unless of course you leave the faith.
Leading up to the Sunday law the latter rain sprinkling would of already soak many of God's People, A few would of already put away sin in his or her own life in preparation to receive the latter rain drenching. Is there anyone in your congregation calling for reform . Yes /No ? This must not be taken lightly if yes. If no then something is not correct as far as am aware we are Laodecia.
Another thing is this,perfection,which many in the church think and preach as an illusive dream would of been attain by the those who would comprise the 144,000 (whether this group is literal or symbolic thats not the argument here )and the time of trouble would be just the polish,the crucible to finish off gems prepared to meet the Bridegroom.
I forgot to mention the Sunday law would taken on a progressive nature.
No time would we wake up and here the Sunday law is past and enforced by death. It will be passed in some countries most likely in the USA then others countries would follow the US model .No enforcement would be impressed.Then it will be enforced stronger ,then forcefully impressed upon all and then be punishable by death.
Some seem to remove probation from the whole equation, many of us dont think about that part of it. The sealing must take place .Judgement begins at the house of God. If you have doubts about that see Ezekiel 9
Now is the time for all who have been under the banner of truth to make a turn around.Now is the time to bruise our knees in petition asking God to remove every sin from us and SIN NOMORE. The mystery should be completed Rev 10:7 , what is the mystery ? Col 1:25-28 . . In the anti-typical day of atonement Isreal would be agonising in prayer to ensure that sins have gone before hand to be blotted out according the the sanctuary service. This is the time to be in spiritual sackcloth and ashes. The sacrifice would of been consuming on the alter in the outer court. Sacrifice consuming in fire decrease, not in increase. This is not time for Gods people to be investing in plans for larger returns,this is not the time to focus on building bigger barns,.Sacrifices ,our means should be used for spreading the truth/the gospel.

Many have in a great measure failed to receive the former rain. They have not obtained all the benefits that God has thus provided for them. They expect that the lack will be supplied by the latter rain. When the richest abundance of grace shall be bestowed, they intend to open their hearts to receive it. They are making a terrible mistake. The work that God has begun in the human heart in giving His light and knowledge must be continually going forward. Every individual must realize his own necessity. The heart must be emptied of every defilement and cleansed for the indwelling of the Spirit. It was by the confession and forsaking of sin, by earnest prayer and consecration of themselves to God, that the early disciples prepared for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. The same work, only in greater degree, must be done now. Then the human agent had only to ask for the blessing, and wait for the Lord to perfect the work concerning him. It is God who began the work, and He will finish His work, making man complete in Jesus Christ. But there must be no neglect of the grace represented by the former rain. Only those who are living up to the light they have will receive greater light. Unless we are daily advancing in the exemplification of the active Christian virtues, we shall not recognize the manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the latter rain. It may be falling on hearts all around us, but we shall not discern or receive it. >The latter rain is drizzling at this time.Wake up and feel the moisture remnant people. The world can expect a plethora of supernatural occurrences as we approach the end of the world. The erroneous 2012 is fast approaching( see the deception video), so the agencies of Evil with empowerment from the arch deceiver himself Satan will work with increase power and manifestation. All focus will shift and nothing will be spared to deceive a world druged on the entertainment industry,wealth and every conceivable distraction. All This is geared towards turning men's heart from the truth of the Bible and filling hearts with fear.
The time is fast approaching as the winds of strife are slowly loosening even the elements are left to the manipulation of the prince of darkness. See Job 1 the whole chapter.

This tells me something! If Satan is making an effort to deceive en mass,then that suggest God is making a move. When ever God sends a messenger or a message ,Satan sends a counterfeit.
Remember Elijah on Mount Carmel 1kings 18. Jeremiah had to deal with false prophets too.
As a rule where God sends truth ,Satan sends the counter in false prophet to guide the minds of the people away from the truth.

Satan will work "with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness." And all that "received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved," will be left to accept "strong delusion, that they should believe a lie." [2 THESS. 2:9-11.] When this state of ungodliness shall be reached, the same results will follow as in the first centuries. {GC88 443.4}

On the contrary, it is the miracle-working power of the great deceiver. He is a transgressor of the moral law, and employs every device that he can master to blind men to its true character. We are warned that in the last days he will work with signs and lying wonders. And he will continue these wonders until the close of probation, that he may point to them as evidence that he is an angel of light and not of darkness. {Mar 148.4}

In these last days the agency of the evil one will be hidden under a cloak of godliness, so that if it were possible even the very elect would be deceived. The word of God declares that Satan will work "with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish." His miracle-working power will be displayed to its utmost. But none who wish to know the truth need be deceived. God has promised to give to his people the Spirit of truth, to guide them into all truth. {RH, November 5, 1889 par. 9}


Spiritualists claim superior light and power. They have opened the door and invited the prince of darkness in, and have made him their honored guest. They have allied themselves to the powers of darkness which are developing in these last days in signs and wonders, that if it were possible they would deceive the very elect. Spiritualists claim that they can do greater miracles than Christ did. Satan made the same boasts to Christ. Because the Son of God had linked Himself to the weakness of humanity, to be tempted in all points like as man should be tempted, Satan triumphed over Him, and taunted Him. He boasted of his superior strength, and dared Him to open a controversy with him. {Con 87.2}

The coming of the Lord is to be preceded by "the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness." 2 Thessalonians 2:9,10. And the apostle John, describing the miracle-working power that will be manifested in the last days, declares: "He doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do." Revelation 13:13, 14. No mere impostures are here foretold. Men are deceived by the miracles which Satan's agents have power to do, not which they pretend to do. {GC 553.2}

Aslan the savior in the movie The Chronicles of Narnia

I am writing this urgent message because very soon our children here in the United States and elsewhere in the world are going to experience a bewitching and a deceptive occult indoctrination. On December 9th, 2005, a new Disney movie will be released entitled “The Chronicles of Narnia.” The movie is based on the book by C.S. Lewis entitled The Chronicles of Narnia; The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It is a sad fact that mainstream “Christianity” esteems C.S. Lewis as a great “Christian” author and his writings as edifying with profound themes of “Christian” teachings. The C.S. Lewis books can be found in “Christian” bookstores everywhere, and even Dr. James Dobson’s Focus on the Family organization is offering and promoting the works of C.S. Lewis. These same books, however, can also be found in occult bookstores everywhere!

As a former witch, astrologer, and occultist who has been saved by the grace of God, I know that the works of C.S. Lewis are required reading by neophyte witches, especially in the United States and England. This includes The Chronicles of Narnia, because it teaches neophyte, or new witches, the basic mindset of the craft. Isn’t it strange, though, that many “Christian” churches and organizations have used The Chronicles of Narnia as Sunday School curriculum?

When I saw the release date of this new movie, I was not surprised. December 9th is the 13th day before the witches’ quarter-sabat of Yule. The full cold moon is midway between the release date and the sabat of Yule. The waxing moon is also directly on the equinox on the release date of the movie. This is far too precisely occultic to be coincidental, and the producers of the movie no doubt consulted upper-level witches regarding the perfect day to have the “Chronicles of Narnia” open.

The author of The Chronicles of Narnia, Clive Staples Lewis, was a professor at Oxford University in England where he was supposedly converted to “Christianity” by another Oxford professor named J.R.R. Tolkien. Tolkien and Lewis would often sit together at a local pub or tavern and converse about their beliefs in the creatures and the activities of the middle earth, a strange realm of a little people and magical powers. Tolkien often referred to Lewis as a “reluctant Christian.” Tolkien, though, was a Roman Catholic in doctrine and found his religion to be perfectly compatible with magic and the world of hobbits and elves.

The story of the Narnian Chronicle known as The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is one of clandestine occult mysticism and is not Sunday School material unless your Sunday School is a defacto witch coven. The story involves a child from the normal everyday or mundane world. This girl, Lucy, who hides in a wardrobe as she is playing a game, suddenly finds herself transported to another world very unlike her own. It is a world of intelligent, talking animals and strange creatures. The little girl soon finds herself having tea with a faun. In witchcraft and ancient Roman pagan mythology, a faun is any of a group of rural deities, which have the bodies of men and the horns, ears, tails, and legs of a goat. The Roman god Faunus was also the god of nature and fertility and was connected to sexual lust. Here let it be noted that in the Narnian Chronicle Prince Caspian, this same strange land the little girl finds herself in is also populated by gods and goddesses; such as Bacchus, the god of drunken orgies, and the Maenads, who were frenzied women driven to madness in the orgiastic cult of Bacchus.

The main character of the book is a lion named Aslan, which is the Turkish word for lion. Aslan the lion is the character that “Christian” teachers say is the Christ figure, but witches know him to be Lucifer. The lion, Aslan, appears in all seven of the books of The Chronicles of Narnia. The following are quotes regarding Aslan the lion:

“At the name of Aslan, Lucy got the feeling you get when you wake in the morning and realize it is the beginning of spring.”

“When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death; and when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.”

“He’ll be coming and going; one day you’ll see him and another you won’t.”

“It was a lion, huge, shaggy; and bright it stood facing the rising sun.”

“Aslan swings his head around scattering golden gleams of light as he does so.”

Remember, Aslan the lion is esteemed to be the “Christ figure” by so many “Christian” teachers, but with that in mind, consider the following quotes from The Chronicles of Narnia.

“The crowd and dance round Aslan (for it had become a dance once more) grew so thick and rapid that Lucy was confused. She never saw where certain other people came from who were soon capering among the trees. One was a youth, dressed only in a fawn skin, with vine leaves wreathed in his curly hair. His face would have been almost too pretty for a boy’s, if it had not looked so extremely wild. You felt, as Edmund said when he saw him a few days later, ‘There’s a chap who might do anything, absolutely anything.’ He seemed to have a great many names – Bromios, Bassareus, and the Ram were three of them. There were a lot of girls with him, as wild as he. There was even, unexpectedly, someone on a donkey. And everybody was laughing: and everyone was shouting out, ‘EUAN, EUAN, EU-oi-oi-oi.’”

Those strange words EUAN, EUAN, EU-oi-oi-oi are an ancient witches’ chant used to invoke the power and presence of the god of drunkenness and addiction, who is named Bacchus. But wait, as the story goes on, it gets worse as the witchcraft increases and becomes more obvious. Consider the following: “‘What is it Aslan?’ said Lucy, her eyes dancing and her feet wanting to dance. ‘Come children’, said he. ‘Ride on my back today.’ ‘Oh lovely!’ cried Lucy, and both girls climbed on to the warm golden back as they had done no one knew how many years before. Then the whole party moved off – Aslan leading. Bacchus and his Maenads leaping, rushing and turning somersaults, the beasts brushing round them, and Silenus and his donkey bringing up the rear… Then three or four Red Dwarfs came forward with their tinder boxes and set light to the pile, which first crackled, and then blazed, and finally roared as a woodland bonfire on midsummer night ought to do. And every-one sat down in a wide circle around it. Then Bacchus and Silenus and the Maenads began a dance, far wilder than the dance of the trees, not merely a dance for fun and beauty (though it was that too), but a magic dance of plenty, and where their hands touched, and where their feet fell, the feast came into existence. Sides of roasted meat that filled the grove with delicious smell, and wheaten cakes and oaten cakes…”

The above is clearly a description of a witches’ sabat of Midsummer or the Summer Solstice, and it is described as such in perfect detail. Certainly by now enough is known to denounce this work as satanic and antichrist.

Was Clive Staples Lewis a Christian or a blasphemer? In his book The World’s Last Night and Other Essays on pages 98-99, Lewis said, “Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place… certainly the most embarrassing verse in the Bible.The one exhibition of error and the one confession of ignorance grow side by side. That they stood thus in the mouth of Jesus himself and were not merely placed thus by the reporter, we surely need not doubt… The facts, then, are these: that Jesus professed himself (in some sense) ignorant, and within a moment showed that he really was so.”

Lewis also said in Reflections on the Psalms, page 129, “… as I believe, Christ… fulfilled both paganism and Judaism.” Lewis was also quoted in a biography as follows: “I had some ado to prevent joy and myself from relapsing into paganism in Attica! At Daphni it was hard not to pray to Apollo the Healer. But somehow one didn’t feel it would have been very wrong – would have only been addressing Christ sub-species Apollinis.”

In closing this urgent message, I pray that our true and dear Lord Jesus Christ will have mercy on the deceived and sleeping remnant, and that they will come fully awake and rise up against this subtle attack of Satan. The apostle Paul warned us in II Corinthians 11:14-15 as follows: “And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteous-ness; whose end shall be according to their works.” May God help us all, and may he especially protect our children from witch-craft in the churches is my prayer.

Time magazine article Confirms 1858 predictions of a World over taken by spiritualism just before Christ soon return

Don't be fool Satan will appear to many as a 'healing angel of light in the closing years of earth's history.
The fallen one will have his demons possess many whom then will feel the reality of the demonic entities in their bodies, revealing themselves as sickness. This messenger of God predicted in the late 1800s said this phenomena will sweep the corners of the globe irregardless of color creed or class just before Christ soon return. Isn't this something? In her time (1800-1900) there were no such movement of spiritualism or so call faith (healing ) yet she was shown what was to come a century and a half later. At the Synagogue Church of All Nations in Lagos, Pastor T.B. Joshua absolves a woman of her sins, part of an effort to cure her of skin disease. People come to the church from all over Africa to seek treatment for afflictions like AIDS, cancer and infertility.

The Great Controversy reads :The ministration of holy angels, as presented in the Scriptures, is a truth most comforting and precious to every follower of Christ. But the Bible teaching upon this point has been obscured and perverted by the errors of popular theology. The doctrine of natural immortality, first borrowed from the pagan philosophy, and in the darkness of the great apostasy incorporated into the Christian faith, has supplanted the truth, so plainly taught in Scripture, that "the dead know not anything." Multitudes have come to believe that it is spirits of the dead who are the "ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation." And this notwithstanding the testimony of Scripture to the existence of heavenly angels, and their connection with the history of man, before the death of a human being.

The doctrine of man's consciousness in death, especially the belief that spirits of the dead return to minister to the living, has prepared the way for modern spiritualism. If the dead are admitted to the presence of God and holy angels, and privileged with knowledge far exceeding what they before possessed, why should they not return to the earth to enlighten and instruct the living? If, as taught by popular theologians, spirits of the dead are hovering about their friends on earth, why should they not be permitted to communicate with them, to warn them against evil, or to comfort them in sorrow? How can those who believe in man's consciousness in death reject what comes to them as divine light communicated by glorified spirits? Here is a channel regarded as sacred, through which Satan works for the accomplishment of his purposes. The fallen angels who do his bidding appear as messengers from the spirit world. While professing to bring the living into communication with the dead, the prince of evil exercises his bewitching influence upon their minds.

Ecuador
A yachac, or shaman, performs a water ritual on a man in a spring near Cotacachi during an indigenous celebration. The water is believed to wash away bad energy and purify the soul. When done before a fiesta, the ritual gives people the energy needed to dance for days.

The Great Controversy reads: He has power to bring before men the appearance of their departed friends. The counterfeit is perfect; the familiar look, the words, the tone, are reproduced with marvelous distinctness. Many are comforted with the assurance that their loved ones are enjoying the bliss of heaven, and without suspicion of danger, they give ear "to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils."

When they have been led to believe that the dead actually return to communicate with them, Satan causes those to appear who went into the grave unprepared. They claim to be happy in heaven and even to occupy exalted positions there, and thus the error is widely taught that no difference is made between the righteous and the wicked. The pretended visitants from the world of spirits sometimes utter cautions and warnings which prove to be correct. Then, as confidence is gained, they present doctrines that directly undermine faith in the Scriptures. With an appearance of deep interest in the well-being of their friends on earth, they insinuate the most dangerous errors. The fact that they state some truths, and are able at times to foretell future events, gives to their statements an appearance of reliability; and their false teachings are accepted by the multitudes as readily, and believed as implicitly, as if they were the most sacred truths of the Bible. The law of God is set aside, the Spirit of grace despised, the blood of the covenant counted an unholy thing. The spirits deny the deity of Christ and place even the Creator on a level with themselves. Thus under a new disguise the great rebel still carries on his warfare against God, begun in heaven and for nearly six thousand years continued upon the earth.

The Great Controversy reads:Many endeavor to account for spiritual manifestations by attributing them wholly to fraud and sleight of hand on the part of the medium. But while it is true that the results of trickery have often been palmed off as genuine manifestations, there have been, also, marked exhibitions of supernatural power. The mysterious rapping with which modern spiritualism began was not the result of human trickery or cunning, but was the direct work of evil angels, who thus introduced one of the most successful of soul-destroying delusions. Many will be ensnared through the belief that spiritualism is a merely human imposture; when brought face to face with manifestations which they cannot but regard as supernatural, they will be deceived, and will be led to accept them as the great power of God.

These persons overlook the testimony of the Scriptures concerning the wonders wrought by Satan and his agents. It was by satanic aid that Pharaoh's magicians were enabled to counterfeit the work of God. Paul testifies that before the second advent of Christ there will be similar manifestations of satanic power. The coming of the Lord is to be preceded by "the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness." 2 Thessalonians 2:9,10. And the apostle John, describing the miracle-working power that will be manifested in the last days, declares: "He doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do." Revelation 13:13, 14. No mere impostures are here foretold. Men are deceived by the miracles which Satan's agents have power to do, not which they pretend to do.

Mexico Twice a year, the faithful come to Espinazo, a small dusty village in Northeast Mexico that is the birthplace of El Nino Fidencio, one of the country's most revered healers. Although he died in the 1940's, worshippers believe that certain priests, known as Materias, can channel his healing gifts. The Great Controversy reads:Satan beguiles men now as he beguiled Eve in Eden by flattery, by kindling a desire to obtain forbidden knowledge, by exciting ambition for self-exaltation. It was cherishing these evils that caused his fall, and through them he aims to compass the ruin of men. "Ye shall be as gods," he declares, "knowing good and evil." Genesis 3:5. Spiritualism teaches "that man is the creature of progression; that it is his destiny from his birth to progress, even to eternity, toward the Godhead." And again: "Each mind will judge itself and not another." "The judgment will be right, because it is the judgment of self. . . . The throne is within you." Said a spiritualistic teacher, as the "spiritual consciousness" awoke within him: "My fellow men, all were unfallen demigods." And another declares: "Any just and perfect being is Christ."

The Great Controversy reads:But none need be deceived by the lying claims of spiritualism. God has given the world sufficient light to enable them to discover the snare. As already shown, the theory which forms the very foundation of spiritualism is at war with the plainest statements of Scripture. The Bible declares that the dead know not anything, that their thoughts have perished; they have no part in anything that is done under the sun; they know nothing of the joys or sorrows of those who were dearest to them on earth.

Furthermore, God has expressly forbidden all pretended communication with departed spirits. In the days of the Hebrews there was a class of people who claimed, as do the spiritualists of today, to hold communication with the dead. But the "familiar spirits," as these visitants from other worlds were called, are declared by the Bible to be "the spirits of devils." (Compare Numbers 25:1-3; Psalm 106:28; I Corinthians 10:20; Revelation 16:14.) The work of dealing with familiar spirits was pronounced an abomination to the Lord, and was solemnly forbidden under penalty of death. Leviticus 19:31; 20:27. The very name of witchcraft is now held in contempt. The claim that men can hold intercourse with evil spirits is regarded as a fable of the Dark Ages. But spiritualism, which numbers its converts by hundreds of thousands, yea, by millions, which has made its way into scientific circles, which has invaded churches, and has found favor in legislative bodies, and even in the courts of kings-- this mammoth deception is but a revival, in a new disguise, of the witchcraft condemned and prohibited of old.

The Great Controversy reads:It is true that spiritualism is now changing its form and, veiling some of its more objectionable features, is assuming a Christian guise. But its utterances from the platform and the press have been before the public for many years, and in these its real character stands revealed. These teachings cannot be denied or hidden.
Even in its present form, so far from being more worthy of toleration than formerly, it is really a more dangerous, because a more subtle, deception. While it formerly denounced Christ and the Bible, it now professes to accept both. But the Bible is interpreted in a manner that is pleasing to the unrenewed heart, while its solemn and vital truths are made of no effect. Love is dwelt upon as the chief attribute of God, but it is degraded to a weak sentimentalism, making little distinction between good and evil. God's justice, His denunciations of sin, the requirements of His holy law, are all kept out of sight. The people are taught to regard the Decalogue as a dead letter. Pleasing, bewitching fables captivate the senses and lead men to reject the Bible as the foundation of their faith. Christ is as verily denied as before; but Satan has so blinded the eyes of the people that the deception is not discerned.

Ukraine
Founded 12 years ago by the Nigerian pastor Sunday Adelaja, the Embassy of God is a charismatic Protestant sect. Its followers believe that some of their members have been chosen to receive the Holy Spirit, which allows them to speak in tongues and heal with their hands. The Great Controversy reads:There are few who have any just conception of the deceptive power of spiritualism and the danger of coming under its influence. Many tamper with it merely to gratify their curiosity. They have no real faith in it and would be filled with horror at the thought of yielding themselves to the spirits' control. But they venture upon the forbidden ground, and the mighty destroyer exercises his power upon them against their will. Let them once be induced to submit their minds to his direction, and he holds them captive. It is impossible, in their own strength, to break away from the bewitching, alluring spell. All who indulge sinful traits of character, or willfully cherish a known sin, are inviting the temptations of Satan. They separate themselves from God and from the watchcare of His angels; as the evil one presents his deceptions, they are without defense and fall an easy prey. Those who thus place themselves in his power little realize where their course will end. Having achieved their overthrow, the tempter will employ them as his agents to lure others to ruin.

circuses, and public baths galore, the Romans never seemed to get bored.

While unbeknown to the populace behind the scene faceless and nameless; groups with Christian cloaks

(Roman in nature )set the agenda’s of the day.

Sports

Sport was one way to distract and beguile the masses, while Roman corrupt government taxed the citizenry.

Officials of the senate in VIP quarters witness battles of there favorite knights and warriors of whom silver coins bearing the emperors face were in the balance pending the outcomes of there wager.
In today’s world the appetite to be entertained is no less, The NBA, NFL, European soccer champions league football, rugby, boxing, fishing, horse racing, wrestling, people chasing balls of all shape ,size and color has fill every spare time that we have.

Recreation is good, I played soccer and up to recently tennis,but when the life becomes consume with an activity within a system design to distract and make money off people one should take note of the bigger picture.In every conceivable means the drive for economic gain has been center of all this gladiating from way back when to now. Nothing has change ,the stadium, the chanting and cheering .Today we stay in our homes and witness the carnage, the trill of victory or the agony of defeat even the “tremendous shot. We have come a long way even now our bets can be place with the click of a mouse.

In Ancient Rome, plays were presented at the time of the games on contemporary wooded stages. The first such permanent Roman theater was ordered to be built by Pompey in 55 BC, eventually erected on the Campus Martius at Rome. Built of stone, it had a seating capacity of 27,000. Essentially patterned after the Greek theater, it differed in the respect that it was built on level ground.

Again designed to appease ,distract and neutralize the populace while the governing bodies implement there plans.Some theaters were excavated out of the sides of hills, the circular space located in front of the stage in a Greek theater was called the orchestra, where choruses and actors performed. Since Roman plays usually lacked a true chorus, the area in front of the stage which might have been an orchestra simply became a semicircular area.Women were allowed in mimes and pantomimes, which were more popular than typical plays but eventually degenerated into vulgar and disgusting tastelessness.
