The deployment of the first several-thousand strong military contingent was reported by The Independent on Sunday who quoted Iranian sources tied to the state’s security apparatus. The sources said the move signals Iran’s intention to drastically step up its efforts to preserve the government of President Bashar Assad.
The Islamic Republic’s heightened military commitment could reportedly extend to the opening up of a new “Syrian” front on the Golan Heights against Israel.
Golan Heights have recently become a source of new instability with increasing cross-border fire and Austria withdrawing its peacekeepers from the buffer area after a checking point became the spot of military dispute between and Assad's and opposition's forces.
This stirred concern in the UN with Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon warning the fragile state of no-war between Tel-Aviv and Damascus is at risk.
“The ongoing military activities in the [Golan] area of separation continue to have the potential to escalate tensions between Israel and the Syrian Arab Republic and to jeopardize the cease-fire between the two countries,” Ban Ki-moon said in a June 13 statement.
Journalists have frequently asked Assad whether he plans to open a resistance front at Golans. The option discussion was brought back to the table after every air strike on the Syrian territory pinned on Israel. Tel-Aviv always stopped short of confirming the strikes but hinted that it would do “whatever it takes” to stop arms supplies to Lebanon’s Hezbollah even if convoys are found going through Syria.
The strikes resonated across the world – and back in February Saeed Jalili, head of Iran’s National Security Council, warned Israel would “regret” them.
…vs. US troops in Jordan?
Reports of Iran’s decision to get directly involved in the Syrian conflict come just days after Israel’s ally, the US, chose to reverse its policy of not providing lethal aid to rebel fighters. The argument the Obama Administration used was that Damascus had crossed a red line by deploying chemical weapons against opposition forces on four separate occasions.Washington’s policy shift has quickly materialized on multiple fronts, some of them also in the press.
On Saturday, the Pentagon announced a detachment of F-16s and US Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems dispatched to Jordan for the ongoing joint Eager Lion military exercise will remain in the country once the training drills conclude.
The same day, The Washington Post reported that clandestine bases in Jordan and Turkey would serve as conduits for arms being delivered to the rebel fighters.
US military support will thus far be limited to light arms and other munitions, although Washington’s shifting calculus has potentially given a green light to regional Sunni allies to provide anti-tank and anti-aircraft weapons to the Assad opposition.
Just one day before the Pentagon announced its intention to leave Patriot missiles and F-16s in Jordan, senior Western diplomats in Turkey announced Washington was mulling the establishment of a no-fly zone, “possibly near the Jordanian border."
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov warned that any attempt to impose such a zone would be in clear violation of international law.
Syria vortex: Saudi Arabia, Al-Nusra, Hezbollah
The US, Israel and Iran are not the only actors to have “activated” recently.On Sunday, the German daily Der Spiegel, citing the German foreign intelligence service, said Saudi Arabia is looking to provide European-made Mistral-class MANPADS – man-portable air-defense systems – to the Syrian opposition.
Notably, on Tuesday, Saudi Arabia condemned the role of another party to the conflict – Hezbollah – announcing that measures would be taken against those loyal to the group who lived in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.
Hezbollah, the Shia Islamist militant group based out of Lebanon, played an integral part in the recapture of the strategic city of Qusayr last week. Damascus announced its intentions to use the Qusayr victory as a stepping stone to retaking large swaths of the northern city of Aleppo and surrounding provinces.
Some 2,000 of Hezbollah’s 65,000 strong force has reportedly been operating in the city since early June. Shortly after these reports emerged, the New York Times rolled out an article saying Israel accelerated planning for a “shock and awe” campaign to wipe out Hezbollah forces out of Syria.
Despite Saudi Arabia’s condemnation of Hezbollah’s “blatant interference” in the Syrian conflict, a report issued by Intelligence Online in January said that Saudi Arabia was directly responsible for the radical al-Nusra Front’s very existence and operational superiority within the country.
"The Saudi General Intelligence, controlled by Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, exploited its broad calls with Takfiri [atoning] movements in Iraq to help establish al-Nusra Front, a low-profile Takfiri movement," the report stated.
"Thanks to funding from the General Intelligence Department and support from the Saudi Intelligence in Lebanon, al-Nusra was able to swiftly arm its forces, and make the Syrian regime suffer painful blows through its expertise in Iraqi bombings," it continued.
The Al-Nusra Front, with its alleged Saudi connections, is incidentally the Syrian branch of the Islamic State of Iraq, which aims to establish a caliphate in the Sunni dominated regions of Iraq. This brings a strong sectarian smell to the two-year conflict and lifts far above local “anti-government” sentiments.
The increased effectiveness of pro-Assad forces has been met with frustration by prominent Sunni clerics. Sheikh Yusuf Qaradawi, a prominent Egyptian theologian, called on Sunnis in the region to join the battle against Damascus, asking: “How could 100m Shia [worldwide] defeat 1.7bn [Sunni]?”
With the United States, its Sunni allies in the region and Israel all preparing to step up involvement in the Syrian conflict, Iran’s commitment to defend the Assad government is likely just as motivated by self-preservation as Shiite solidarity.

The Children of the East are getting battle hardened for something in the not too distant future.

Looking at this military unit one could say that a war serves an army well. Dress code is free: one is wearing a bright red belt with a huge buckle, another has a cowboy hat on his head and many are wearing baseball caps. They move quickly and deftly – professional machines of war with cat-like grace. They understand each other without words. There is no servility, neither is there the beadledom that was so noticeable just two years ago. War creates the atmosphere of battlefield brotherhood and clears up the goals. Several officers come back with a huge basket of oranges. Greengroceries are located in the vicinity, right outside the territory of the unit. In fact, it looks like just 200 meters away from the unit base people live normal ordinary lives – there are nice houses, streets are crowded with women and kids. From time to time the picture is interrupted by the sound of shooting and ambulance sirens. Only concrete blocks painted orange and black, watch boxes fortified with sandbags, and round-the-clock cannonade signify there is war. I can’t help making comparisons with those soldiers I saw in the summer 2011 – the very beginning of the events in Syria. Back then they looked like perplexed unskilled youngsters that had no idea of what they had to do and resembled live unarmed targets, put out across the country to be killed. Many of them are now bearded with long hair. You won’t see a tiny bit of that depression in their eyes that was there two years ago. All those who hadn’t felt like struggling, escaped from the army during these hard two years. But those who have stayed are definitely ready to fight and give away their lives. The Bible describes the children of the east in Genes17:8-20 Gen 17:18 And Abraham said unto God, O that Ishmael might live before thee! Gen 17:19 And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him. Gen 17:20 And as for Ishmael, I have heard thee: Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make him a great nation. Gen 16:12 And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren. In times past we would of references was made to Islam in bible prophecy in Revelation chapters 9 ,But it is not the only nor is the first place that describes them. Uriah smith said: "There is scarcely so uniform an agreement among interpreters concerning any other part of the Apocalypse as respecting the application of the fifth and sixth trumpets, or the first and second woes, to the Saracens and the Turks. It is so obvious that it can scarcely be misunderstood. Instead of a verse or two designating each, the whole of the ninth chapter of the Revelation, equal portions, is occupied with a description of both.” {Topic :The Moslem World} The book Daniel and Revelation by Uriah smith pg 493 In formation concerning The children of the East,their activities of destruction,their temperament are all in Bible. The book of Joel tells us also when in earths History these features will be most prominent.
Joe 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
Joe 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
Joe 2:3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
Joe 2:4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
Joe 2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. Joe 2:6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
Joe 2:7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
Joe 2:8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded. Joe 2:9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
Joe 2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
A glimpse at Revelation 9 and Joel 2 will easily prove that both are speaking of the same events the trumpets woes of Islam.
Joel chapter 2 and Revelation 9 is the same prophesy about Islam, one having details the other does not have. Remember “the Spirit of the prophets are subject to the prophets for God is not the author of confusion” 1 Cor 14:32, 33
Revelation 9:3 shows they are as Locust “Joel 2:3 the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness”. This is the destructive work of locust .
Revelation 9:7 shows their advantage in warfare was their swift fearless horses of which they are seldom separated from ,similarly Joel2:4 referred to them as “The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run”
Geneses 17:18-20 Describes the sons of Ishmael the children of the East as a “great nation” a “godowly” people which means a mighty people. The same understanding is here given in Joel 2:2 “ a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it” .
A signature of Terrorism is seen and the agony of war in Joel 2:6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness. Details of this is given in Rev9:6,10,11 Men shall “seek death” and desire to die and shall not find it, they were like scorpions ,they hurt men, the king over them was Abaddon and Apollyon which means destroyer in both the Greek and Hebrew tongue.
Thus Joel 2 description of Islam is the truth that we face today, it is present truth, this is another among the many biblical evidence we are indeed in the last days. Joe 2:1 says : Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; While Revelation 9 describes Islam, Joel 2 tells the people of God what they need to do in time when Islam is angering the nations.
Joe 2:16 tells the people of God what we need to do ,it says: “ Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Joe 2:17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God? 
Make no mistake when the Childrean of the East, the Islamic world begin to Anger the nations so much as to cause the world to unite against them the end is near and it is time to give your life totally to Christ before trouble come upon the earth. Note when the Wild Ass (the wild Onega)for that is what the Hebrew mean by the term the WILD MAN . When they are active and near the Lion is not far off. Who is the Lion ? The lion in Bible prophecy has always been the king of the North ,the king of Babylon. The modern king of Babylon is the Papal Rome. For it is He that is soon to ascend the throne of the earth,the deadly wound in Rev 13 is about to be healed. It is at this time the world will be forced into one religion that is the Religion that consider itself the Mother of all religion ,the Roman Catholic church.

I
observe with particular pleasure the view you have taken of the
immunity of Religion from civil jurisdiction, in every case where it
does not trespass on private rights or the public peace. This has always
been a favorite principle with me; and it was not with my approbation,
that the deviation from it took place in Congs., when they appointed
Chaplains, to be paid from the Natl. Treasury. It would have been a much
better proof to their Constituents of their pious feeling if the
members had contributed for the purpose, a pittance from their own
pockets. As the precedent is not likely to be rescinded, the best that
can now be done, may be to apply to the Constn. the maxim of the law, de
minimis non curat.
There has been another deviation from the strict principle in the
Executive Proclamations of fasts & festivals, so far, at least,
as they have spoken the language of injunction, or have lost sight of
the equality of all religious sects in the eye of the Constitution.
Whilst I was honored with the Executive Trust I found it necessary on
more than one occasion to follow the example of predecessors. But I was
always careful to make the Proclamations absolutely indiscriminate, and
merely recommendatory; or rather mere designations of a day, on which
all who thought proper might unite in consecrating it to religious
purposes, according to their own faith & forms. In this sense, I
presume you reserve to the Govt. a right to appoint particular days for
religious worship throughout the State, without any penal sanction
enforcing the worship. I know not what may be the way of thinking on
this subject in Louisiana. I should suppose the Catholic portion of the
people, at least, as a small & even unpopular sect in the U. S.,
would rally, as they did in Virga. when religious liberty was a
Legislative topic, to its broadest principle. Notwithstanding the
general progress made within the two last centuries in favour of this
branch of liberty, & the full establishment of it, in some parts
of our Country, there remains in others a strong bias towards the old
error, that without some sort of alliance or coalition between Govt.
& Religion neither can be duly supported. Such indeed is the
tendency to such a coalition, and such its corrupting influence on both
the parties, that the danger cannot be too carefully guarded agst. And
in a Govt. of opinion, like ours, the only effectual guard must be found
in the soundness and stability of the general opinion on the subject.
Every new & successful example therefore of a perfect separation
between ecclesiastical and civil matters, is of importance. And I have
no doubt that every new example, will succeed, as every past one has
done, in shewing that religion & Govt. will both exist in
greater purity, the less they are mixed together. It was the belief of
all sects at one time that the establishment of Religion by law, was
right & necessary; that the true religion ought to be
established in exclusion of every other; And that the only question to
be decided was which was the true religion. The example of Holland
proved that a toleration of sects, dissenting from the established sect,
was safe & even useful. The example of the Colonies, now
States, which rejected religious establishments altogether, proved that
all Sects might be safely & advantageously put on a footing of
equal & entire freedom; and a continuance of their example since
the declaration of Independence, has shewn that its success in Colonies
was not to be ascribed to their connection with the parent Country. If a
further confirmation of the truth could be wanted, it is to be found in
the examples furnished by the States, which have abolished their
religious establishments. I cannot speak particularly of any of the
cases excepting that of Virga. where it is impossible to deny that
Religion prevails with more zeal, and a more exemplary priesthood than
it ever did when established and patronised by Public authority. We are
teaching the world the great truth that Govts. do better without Kings
& Nobles than with them. The merit will be doubled by the other
lesson that Religion flourishes in greater purity, without than with the
aid of Govt.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or
prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of
speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble,
and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Daniel 11:40-45 tells us who will rule the world at the time of the end.
"The world is stirred with the spirit of war. Soon the scenes of trouble spoken of in the prophecies will take place. The prophecy in the eleventh of Daniel has nearly reached its complete fulfillment. Much of the history that has taken place in fulfillment of this prophecy will be repeated. In the thirtieth verse a power is spoken of that "shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant." Daniel 11 Verses 31-36 quoted.

And at the time of the end (1798) shall the king of the south (the king of atheism: France in 1798) push (push: to war against) at him (the king of the north; the papal power): and the king of the north (modern Rome; the papal power) shall come against(the king of atheism: the Soviet Union in 1989) like a whirlwind (with a mightysweeping away), with chariots, and with horsemen, (the military might of the UnitedStates) and with many ships ( the financial might of the United States); and he (modern Rome; the papal power) shall enter into (conquer) the countries (the countries thatconstituted the former Soviet block), and shall overflow and pass over.
He (modern Rome; papal Rome) shall enter also into (conquer also) the glorious land
(the United States), and many countries (many people, not many countries, for the Hebrew
word countries is here a supplied word) shall be overthrown (receive the mark of the beast):
but these (those that escape the mark of the beast) shall escape (escape: escape as if by
slipperiness; as when you grab a bar of soap in a tub of water and it slips out of your hand)
out of his hand (his control or authority), even Edom, and Moab (Moabites and Amonites are children of Lot via his Daughters,an unlawful relationship , Protestant churches marching to the drum of Rome are Adulterous,or daughters of the great whore of Rev 17 and 19)
and the chief of the children of Ammon .
He (modern Rome; the papal power) shall stretch forth his hand (hand: legislation I.E National Sunday Law)
also upon (also conquer) the countries (all the countries of the world): and the land
of Egypt (the entire world none religious) shall not escape (escape: a different Hebrew word than the
word translated as “escape” in the previous verse. This Hebrew word means finding no
deliverance. All the countries of the world are here brought under papal bondage).
But he (modern Rome; the papal power) shall have power over (control of) the treasures
of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt (the financial structure of
the entire world): and the Libyans and the Ethiopians (Ethiopia represents extremely wealthy and the Libyans :Lubims = poor weeping nations ..These are the 1st world and 3rd world nations ..both rich and poor) shall be at his
steps (steps: meaning to march with, or be in unity with, or under the control of the king of
the north).
But tidings (the gospel message) out of the east and out of the north shall trouble
(infuriate) him (modern Rome; the papal power): therefore he (modern Rome) shall
go forth withgreat fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many (to kill God’s people. Great slaughter inquisition renewed Rev 20:4).
And he (modern Rome; the papal power) shall plant the tabernacles (a symbol of the
church) of his palace (a symbol of the state) between the seas (mankind outside of God’s
church) in (and) the glorious holy mountain (God’s triumphant church); yet he (modern
Rome) shall come to his end (at Armageddon, which is the great spiritual battle between truth and error, Gods Holy mountain(Remnant in Revelation 12:17,Revelation 14:12 ) verses Satan"s mountain Papal error and her daughters in Apostate protestantism)
and none shall help him (modern Rome).
