Woman paralyse by flu shot August 23

At 26 years old, Desiree Jennings was the picture of health. She's a Washington Redskins cheerleader and an avid runner. Her life changed forever on August 23 when she says she got a seasonal flu shot at a local grocery store.

"I was training for a half marathon then," said Jennings, crying. "It just all went so fast."

Ten days after receiving the shot, she came down with the flu. After that, her health spiraled downwards. She started passing out and had to be hospitalized twice.

"We went to an urgent care place and they wouldn't even let her get out of my truck because she was seizing in the back so bad, so they called an ambulance immediately," says her husband, Brendan Jennings.

Doctors at Fairfax Inova and Johns Hopkins diagnosed her with a rare neurological disorder called dystonia. They think it was caused by a severe reaction to the flu shot.

Desiree now has difficulty speaking, walking, and even eating. During an interview with FOX 5, she had several seizures. The effects are irreversible.

"The symptoms will get worse if I use my voice or walk when the brain signals are misfiring," says Jennings.

Desiree reported her health problems to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) thinking there might have been something wrong with her vaccine. We also contacted the FDA and we were told they found no problems with the particular lot of flu vaccines that Desiree received, and the agency has not received any other reports of adverse effects from this lot.

Health experts stress that overall, extreme side effects are rare.

"The flu shot is safe for the majority of the public, and as I said before, your heart goes out to someone that experiences this sort of thing-- thinking that they are doing something great for their wellness and their general health, but it does happen in extremely rare cases," says Rachel Lynch with Fairfax Inove Health System.

For Desiree, she just happened to be one of those rare cases.

"I just don't want this to happen to anyone else," says Jennings.

Desiree and her husband plan to visit the Mayo Clinic in Arizona in November. They're hoping to get more answers about this disease and how they live with it.

Desiree has received flu shots before in 2007 and 2008.

The confederacies are growing

Nations of the East Agree to Unite
TUESDAY, 27 OCTOBER 2009 11:07

The Trumpet - The world will soon have another EU-style trade bloc, this time in the East. During a summit of 16 Asian nations held in Thailand October 24 to 25, a solid base was created for a future trade bloc among Asian nations that will lead to the creation of an economic and military alliance. Biblical prophecy calls it the “kings of the east.”

The foundation of a future alliance was established with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (asean), an economic community of 10 smaller Asian nations, formed in 1967. Since the late 1990s, its powerful neighbors, China and Japan, along with South Korea, have joined the bloc to create the asean Plus Three initiative. This larger group has been behind the East Asia Summits, which also include India, Australia and New Zealand.

Huge steps toward Asian integration were taken at the latest summit in Thailand, with asean declaring it agrees in principle to creating a free economic zone in Asia. The free-trade area would be called the East Asia Free Trade Area (eafta) and include asean and its neighbors.

At the summit, asean also agreed in principle to go forward with plans to establish a Comprehensive Economic Partnership in East Asia and asked the finance ministers from member nations to submit a draft at the next session on ways to form an East Asian economic bloc that goes beyond asean.

The goal set by asean is economic integration by 2015.

Although asean is the starting point, the real motivators behind integration have always been the major players in the region: China, Japan and India. These three heavyweights hold the real power in the backdoor political dealings that will make this alliance happen.

China and India are already moving toward closer economic cooperation. During the summit, Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao announced they were discussing a free-trade agreement that would break down duty barriers between their countries. They also pledged to improve their relations and work toward solving their longstanding border disputes.

India also signed free-trade agreements with South Korea and Singapore, and signed a trade-in-goods agreement with asean. Prime Minister Singh announced that India is in discussion for similar trade agreements with Japan, Thailand and Malaysia.

According to Prime Minister Singh, who is also in favor of creating a large Asian trade community, these trade agreements “can lead to the creation of a broader Asian economic community.” All these agreements are important steps toward creating a powerful trade bloc.

Singh added that there was a need to move forward in this direction and “exhibit the requisite political will” to make it happen. This is where Japan has played a powerful role.

Japan’s new prime minister, Yukio Hatoyama, is a strong supporter of the creation of an Asian community. Hatoyama wants something more than just a free-trade zone and has called for a community similar to the European Union. He announced at the United Nations summit one week after coming into office, and once again at the East Asia Summit, that he would work toward this goal.

During the summit he pushed his plan for an East Asian community that could “lead the world.”

Hatoyama’s more ambitious plan even includes the adoption of a single currency within the community, a move which vividly symbolizes his belief that Japan should strengthen its ties with Asia, rather than the U.S., to ensure future economic growth.

The plan would shrink U.S. influence in the region and confirm Hayatoma’s opinion that “the era of U.S.-led globalism is coming to an end.”

Worried about a diminished U.S. presence in Asia, Australia’s Prime Minister Kevin Rudd also proposed a plan for an Asia-Pacific community that would include the United States.

Australia, traditionally one of America’s closest allies, wants a strong U.S. presence in the east and is concerned, as are other nations in the area, about China’s ability to dominate a future community.

“Some countries want the United States to be part of a future regional framework as a counterbalance to China’s influence,” an unnamed asean diplomat told Agence France-Presse.

However, other nations, like Japan, are just as wary of U.S. influence in an Asian community. They believe that including the U.S. in such a community would contradict the idea of regional bloc for Asia, since geographically it is not an Asian power.

Still, balancing China is a primary concern for the Asian nations considering forming a community, and only a powerful nation could perform that key role. There is, however, an alternative that has not received as much attention in the talks: Russia.

Though Russia has not participated as much in the East Asia Summits, it certainly wants to. It has already applied to join the East Asia Summit and has formed its own initiatives to forge closer links with its Asian neighbors.

Today, a trilateral meeting among Russia, China and India will take place. The meetings of the world’s largest nation and the two most populous nations were initiated by the Russians back in 2005. The whole purpose was to create a new axis of powers to counter the U.S., though it was stated in a more politically correct way: to build a multipolar world.

Bordering China and possessing a military with nuclear weapons able to keep China in check, Russia would be an important balancing power for the Asian community. It also has the valuable potential to provide the Asian community with energy resources, which all of these countries lack.

Last week, Russia signed a pipeline deal that would supply China with 85 percent of its natural gas needs. This would make China Russia’s biggest gas customer and link the two in a closer alliance. This deal would also give Russia a powerful check on Chinese domination in the region if needed.

Russia, China and India combined would form a powerful bloc in the region and the world. They account for 40 percent of the world’s population, 20 percent of its economy and more than half of its nuclear warheads. With Japan included, which possesses the second greatest navy in the world, such an Asian bloc would certainly be in position to take a leading role in global affairs. Altogether the community would encompass more than half the world’s population!

All the key players in Asia—India, China, Japan and Russia—want closer integration. China may not be as outspoken about it as Japan is, so as not to portray a dominating image, but its actions have proved just as loud as Japan’s words.

Earlier this year, China pledged to create a $10 billion fund to develop the infrastructure of China and asean member states. In addition to the new money, a free-trade zone between China and asean is expected to come into effect at the start of 2010.

All this demonstrates China’s eagerness for further cooperation and shows how close to fruition an Asian community actually. Many bilateral trade agreements have been made already.

“We believe that to establish an East Asian community is the future direction of promoting East Asian cooperation,” Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Hu Zhengyue told reporters last week.

Plainly, all the big Asian nations are embracing the trend of closer regional cooperation.

Closer economic integration would secure energy supplies, especially for China, Japan and India, and give Russia a much-needed alternative market for its resources so it isn’t so dependent on Europe and the West.

All that is needed is to get the smaller nations on board—and now asean has agreed to the idea and is working toward forming the community. As South Korean President Lee Myung-bak said, “eafta will further enhance relationship among East Asian countries by not only increasing trade and investment but also promoting civil exchanges.”

asean and its expanding initiatives will prove to be the launching pad to create the biggest regional trade bloc in man’s history. This alliance, prophesied in the Bible (Revelation 16:12), will be powerful enough to challenge any superpower.

Of course, several disputes must be overcome before this happens. The nations will have to compromise on important economic issues that will affect their national interests, and it won’t achieve the same kind of political integration the EU has—the Bible refers to “kings” as opposed to “king,” as is used in reference to the “king of the north,” for example (Daniel 11:40). Whether a single currency is adopted by the Asian community remains to be seen as well.

However, there is an underlying theme that unites the Asian community. It is anti-West sentiment, aimed currently at the U.S., but also Europe.

That has been the motivator behind Russia, China and India meeting since 2005. That is a cornerstone in Japan’s calls for an Asian community, and that is what will bind the Asian nations together in a strong alliance.

Asia sees Europe uniting and is responding in like manner to counter Europe’s rise. This will eventually lead to a catastrophic showdown also prophesied in your Bible. For more information, read our booklet Russia and China in Prophecy. It will show you where all these trade agreements are leading and the significance for the entire world.

America was a Godly nation.

The Declaration of Independence sets forth the great truth that "all men are created equal," and endowed with the inalienable right to "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." And the Constitution guarantees to the people the right of self-government, providing that representatives elected by the popular vote shall enact and administer the laws. Freedom of religious faith was also granted, every man being permitted to worship God according to the dictates of his conscience. Republicanism and Protestantism became the fundamental principles of the nation. These principles are the secret of its power and prosperity. The oppressed and down-trodden throughout Christendom have turned to this land with interest and hope. Millions have sought its shores, and the United States has risen to a place among the most powerful nations of the earth. {GC88 441.1}
But the beast with lamb-like horns "spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed, .
442
. . saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live." [REV. 13:11-14.] {GC88 441.2}
The lamb-like horns and dragon voice of the symbol point to a striking contradiction between the professions and the practice of the nation thus represented. The "speaking" of the nation is the action of its legislative and judicial authorities. By such action it will give the lie to those liberal and peaceful principles which it has put forth as the foundation of its policy. The prediction that it will speak "as a dragon," and exercise "all the power of the first beast," plainly foretells a development of the spirit of intolerance and persecution that was manifested by the nations represented by the dragon and the leopard-like beast. And the statement that the beast with two horns "causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast," indicates that the authority of this nation is to be exercised in enforcing some observance which shall be an act of homage to the papacy.
Such action would be directly contrary to the principles of this government, to the genius of its free institutions, to the direct and solemn avowals of the Declaration of Independence, and to the Constitution. The founders of the nation wisely sought to guard against the employment of secular power on the part of the church, with its inevitable result--intolerance and persecution. The Constitution provides that "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," and that "no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office of public trust under the United States." Only in flagrant violation of these safeguards to the nation's liberty, can any religious observance be enforced by civil authority. But the inconsistency of such action is no greater than is represented in the symbol. It is the beast with lamb-like horns--in profession pure, gentle, and harmless-- that speaks as a dragon.

"Saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast." Here is clearly presented a form of government in which the legislative power rests with the people; a most striking evidence that the United States is the nation denoted in the prophecy.
But what is the "image to the beast"? and how is it to be formed? The image is made by the two-horned beast, and is an image to the first beast. It is also called an image of the beast. Then to learn what the image is like, and how it is to be formed, we must study the characteristics of the beast itself, --the papacy. When the early church became corrupted by departing from the simplicity of the gospel, and accepting heathen rites and customs, she lost the Spirit and power of God; and in order to control the consciences of the people she sought the support of the secular power. The result was the papacy, a church that controlled the power of the State, and employed it to further her own ends, especially for the punishment of "heresy." In order for the United States to form an image of the beast, the religious power must so control the civil government that the authority of the State will also be employed by the church to accomplish her own ends.

Whenever the church has obtained secular power, she has employed it to punish dissent from her doctrines. Protestant churches that have followed in the steps of Rome by forming alliance with worldly powers, have manifested a similar desire to restrict liberty of conscience. An example of this is given in the long-continued persecution of dissenters by the Church of England. During the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, thousands of non-conformist ministers were forced to leave their churches, and many, both of pastors and people, were subjected to fine, imprisonment, torture, and martyrdom. {GC88 443.3}
It was apostasy that led the early church to seek the aid of the civil government, and this prepared the way for the development of the papacy,--the beast. Said Paul, There shall
"come a falling away, . . . and that man of sin be revealed." [2 THESS. 2:3] So apostasy in the church will prepare the way for the image to the beast. And the Bible declares that before the coming of the Lord there will exist a state of religious declension similar to that in the first centuries. "In the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof." [2 TIM. 3:1-5] "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils." [1 TIM. 4:1.] Satan will work "with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness." And all that "received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved," will be left to accept "strong delusion, that they should believe a lie." [2 THESS. 2:9-11.] When this state of ungodliness shall be reached, the same results will follow as in the first centuries.
The wide diversity of belief in the Protestant churches is regarded by many as decisive proof that no effort to secure a forced uniformity can ever be made. But there has been for years, in churches of the Protestant faith, a strong and growing sentiment in favor of a union based upon common points of doctrine. To secure such a union, the discussion of subjects upon which all were not agreed--however important they might be from a Bible standpoint--must necessarily be waived.
Charles Beecher, in a sermon in the year 1846, declared that the ministry of "the evangelical Protestant denominations" is "not only formed all the way up under a tremendous pressure of merely human fear, but they live, and move, and breathe in a state of things radically corrupt, and appealing every hour to every baser element of their nature to hush up the truth, and bow the knee to the power of apostasy. Was not this the way things went with Rome? Are we not living her life over again? And what do we see just ahead?--Another general council! A world's convention! evangelical alliance, and universal creed!" When this shall be gained, then, in the effort to secure complete uniformity, it will be only a step to the resort to force. {GC88 444.2}
When the leading churches of the United States, uniting upon such points of doctrine as are held by them in common, shall influence the State to enforce their decrees and to sustain their institutions, then Protestant America will have formed an image of the Roman hierarchy, and the infliction of civil penalties upon dissenters will inevitably result. {GC88 445.1}
The beast with two horns "causeth [commands] all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads; and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." [REV. 13:16, 17] The third angel's warning is, "If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, the same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God." "The beast" mentioned in this message, whose worship is enforced by the two-horned beast, is the first, or leopard-like beast of Revelation 13,--the papacy. The "image to the beast" represents that form of apostate Protestantism which will be developed when the Protestant churches shall seek the aid of the civil power for the enforcement of their dogmas. The "mark of the beast" still remains to be defined.
After the warning against the worship of the beast and his image, the prophecy declares, "Here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Since those who keep God's commandments are thus placed in contrast with those that worship the beast and his image and receive his mark, it follows that the keeping of God's law, on the one hand, and its violation, on the other, will make the distinction between the worshipers of God and the worshipers of the beast.
The special characteristic of the beast, and therefore of his image, is the breaking of God's commandments. Says Daniel, of the little horn, the papacy, "He shall think to change the times and the law." [DAN. 7:25, REVISED VERSION.] And Paul styled the same power the "man of sin," who was to exalt himself above God. One prophecy is a complement of the other. Only by changing God's law could the papacy exalt itself above God; whoever should understandingly keep the law as thus changed would be giving supreme honor to that power by which the change was made. Such an act of obedience to papal laws would be a mark of allegiance to the pope in the place of God.
The papacy has attempted to change the law of God. The second commandment, forbidding image worship, has been dropped from the law, and the fourth commandment has been so changed as to authorize the observance of the first instead of the seventh day as the Sabbath. But papists urge, as a reason for omitting the second commandment, that it is unnecessary, being included in the first, and that they are giving the law exactly as God designed it to be understood. This cannot be the change foretold by the prophet. An intentional, deliberate change is presented: "He shall think to change the times and the law." The change in the fourth commandment exactly fulfills the prophecy. For this the only authority claimed is that of the church. Here the papal power openly sets itself above God. {GC88 446.2}

From Lamb to Beast, Chronicled before our eyes

This movement from Lamb to Beast reminds me of a story in Daniel,Read Daniel 4

"The framers of the Constitution recognized the eternal principle that man's relation with his God is above human legislation, and his rights of conscience inalienable. Reasoning was not necessary to establish this truth; we are conscious of it in our own bosoms. It is this consciousness which, in defiance of human laws, has sustained so many martyrs in tortures and flames. They felt that their duty to God was superior to human enactments, and that man could exercise no authority over their consciences. It is an inborn principle which nothing can eradicate."

Illegal to preach about sin soon.

The 3 angels message will be soon difficult to preach.

Charlie Butts - OneNewsNow - 10/24/2009 4:15:00 AM
On Thursday, the U.S. Senate passed a hate crimes bill that Christian leaders have warned for years could greatly infringe on the rights of those who speak to loudly about their religious views. Matt Barber of Liberty Counsel agrees with most observers that President Obama will sign the measure -- adding that the president desires to "throw a bone to homosexual activists because they have been breathing down his neck...and this is a way to hold them off."

Barber views the legislation as something akin to a muzzle. "Unfortunately, it places Christians -- people of faith, people who have traditional values relative to sexual immorality...in an untenable position," says the attorney.

Shhh!He notes that several years ago, a similar law in Pennsylvania resulted in the arrest of 11 Christians who were presenting the gospel at a Philadelphia homosexual rally. Barber goes on to say that the federal bill "will chill religious liberty and free speech -- and that is its intended purpose, not to protect anybody from hate crimes."

And as for pastors? "There is a very weak exemption in [the bill] which is totally illusory, and a religious exemption is not going to protect pastors," responds Barber. "Renegade prosecutors and politically correct leftists in positions of authority can subjectively determine what is or is not a hate crime." And then move on to prosecution, he adds.

Barber explains that Liberty Counsel intends to challenge the constitutionality of the hate crimes legislation.

Nearly half a millennium after Anglicans split with the Roman Catholic Church, the Vatican wants them back. As Jim Axelrod reports, the Catholic Church will make it easier for Anglicans to convert.

95 theses attacks the purchase of forgiveness of sins by objects blessed by the Pope

Today we have the same thing happening see this site (http://www.papalblessedrosaries.com/) and you will see Rome will never change. Matthew 21:12,13

Out of love for the truth and from desire to elucidate it, the Reverend Father Martin Luther, Master of Arts and Sacred Theology, and ordinary lecturer therein at Wittenberg, intends to defend the following statements and to dispute on them in that place. Therefore he asks that those who cannot be present and dispute with him orally shall do so in their absence by letter. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Martin Luther 95 theses

1. When our Lord and Master Jesus Christ said, ``Repent'' (Mt 4:17), he willed the entire life of believers to be one of repentance.
2. This word cannot be understood as referring to the sacrament of penance, that is, confession and satisfaction, as administered by the clergy.
3. Yet it does not mean solely inner repentance; such inner repentance is worthless unless it produces various outward mortification of the flesh.
4. The penalty of sin remains as long as the hatred of self (that is, true inner repentance), namely till our entrance into the kingdom of heaven.
5. The pope neither desires nor is able to remit any penalties except those imposed by his own authority or that of the canons.
6. The pope cannot remit any guilt, except by declaring and showing that it has been remitted by God; or, to be sure, by remitting guilt in cases reserved to his judgment. If his right to grant remission in these cases were disregarded, the guilt would certainly remain unforgiven.
7. God remits guilt to no one unless at the same time he humbles him in all things and makes him submissive to the vicar, the priest.
8. The penitential canons are imposed only on the living, and, according to the canons themselves, nothing should be imposed on the dying.
9. Therefore the Holy Spirit through the pope is kind to us insofar as the pope in his decrees always makes exception of the article of death and of necessity.
10. Those priests act ignorantly and wickedly who, in the case of the dying, reserve canonical penalties for purgatory.
11. Those tares of changing the canonical penalty to the penalty of purgatory were evidently sown while the bishops slept (Mt 13:25).
12. In former times canonical penalties were imposed, not after, but before absolution, as tests of true contrition.
13. The dying are freed by death from all penalties, are already dead as far as the canon laws are concerned, and have a right to be released from them.
14. Imperfect piety or love on the part of the dying person necessarily brings with it great fear; and the smaller the love, the greater the fear.
15. This fear or horror is sufficient in itself, to say nothing of other things, to constitute the penalty of purgatory, since it is very near to the horror of despair.
16. Hell, purgatory, and heaven seem to differ the same as despair, fear, and assurance of salvation.
17. It seems as though for the souls in purgatory fear should necessarily decrease and love increase.
18. Furthermore, it does not seem proved, either by reason or by Scripture, that souls in purgatory are outside the state of merit, that is, unable to grow in love.
19. Nor does it seem proved that souls in purgatory, at least not all of them, are certain and assured of their own salvation, even if we ourselves may be entirely certain of it.
20. Therefore the pope, when he uses the words ``plenary remission of all penalties,'' does not actually mean ``all penalties,'' but only those imposed by himself.
21. Thus those indulgence preachers are in error who say that a man is absolved from every penalty and saved by papal indulgences.
22. As a matter of fact, the pope remits to souls in purgatory no penalty which, according to canon law, they should have paid in this life.
23. If remission of all penalties whatsoever could be granted to anyone at all, certainly it would be granted only to the most perfect, that is, to very few.
24. For this reason most people are necessarily deceived by that indiscriminate and high-sounding promise of release from penalty.
25. That power which the pope has in general over purgatory corresponds to the power which any bishop or curate has in a particular way in his own diocese and parish.
26. The pope does very well when he grants remission to souls in purgatory, not by the power of the keys, which he does not have, but by way of intercession for them.
27. They preach only human doctrines who say that as soon as the money clinks into the money chest, the soul flies out of purgatory.
28. It is certain that when money clinks in the money chest, greed and avarice can be increased; but when the church intercedes, the result is in the hands of God alone.
29. Who knows whether all souls in purgatory wish to be redeemed, since we have exceptions in St. Severinus and St. Paschal, as related in a legend.
30. No one is sure of the integrity of his own contrition, much less of having received plenary remission.
31. The man who actually buys indulgences is as rare as he who is really penitent; indeed, he is exceedingly rare.
32. Those who believe that they can be certain of their salvation because they have indulgence letters will be eternally damned, together with their teachers.
33. Men must especially be on guard against those who say that the pope's pardons are that inestimable gift of God by which man is reconciled to him.
34. For the graces of indulgences are concerned only with the penalties of sacramental satisfaction established by man.
35. They who teach that contrition is not necessary on the part of those who intend to buy souls out of purgatory or to buy confessional privileges preach unchristian doctrine.
36. Any truly repentant Christian has a right to full remission of penalty and guilt, even without indulgence letters.
37. Any true Christian, whether living or dead, participates in all the blessings of Christ and the church; and this is granted him by God, even without indulgence letters.
38. Nevertheless, papal remission and blessing are by no means to be disregarded, for they are, as I have said (Thesis 6), the proclamation of the divine remission.
39. It is very difficult, even for the most learned theologians, at one and the same time to commend to the people the bounty of indulgences and the need of true contrition.
40. A Christian who is truly contrite seeks and loves to pay penalties for his sins; the bounty of indulgences, however, relaxes penalties and causes men to hate them -- at least it furnishes occasion for hating them.
41. Papal indulgences must be preached with caution, lest people erroneously think that they are preferable to other good works of love.
42. Christians are to be taught that the pope does not intend that the buying of indulgences should in any way be compared with works of mercy.
43. Christians are to be taught that he who gives to the poor or lends to the needy does a better deed than he who buys indulgences.
44. Because love grows by works of love, man thereby becomes better. Man does not, however, become better by means of indulgences but is merely freed from penalties.
45. Christians are to be taught that he who sees a needy man and passes him by, yet gives his money for indulgences, does not buy papal indulgences but God's wrath.
46. Christians are to be taught that, unless they have more than they need, they must reserve enough for their family needs and by no means squander it on indulgences.
47. Christians are to be taught that they buying of indulgences is a matter of free choice, not commanded.
48. Christians are to be taught that the pope, in granting indulgences, needs and thus desires their devout prayer more than their money.
49. Christians are to be taught that papal indulgences are useful only if they do not put their trust in them, but very harmful if they lose their fear of God because of them.
50. Christians are to be taught that if the pope knew the exactions of the indulgence preachers, he would rather that the basilica of St. Peter were burned to ashes than built up with the skin, flesh, and bones of his sheep.
51. Christians are to be taught that the pope would and should wish to give of his own money, even though he had to sell the basilica of St. Peter, to many of those from whom certain hawkers of indulgences cajole money.
52. It is vain to trust in salvation by indulgence letters, even though the indulgence commissary, or even the pope, were to offer his soul as security.
53. They are the enemies of Christ and the pope who forbid altogether the preaching of the Word of God in some churches in order that indulgences may be preached in others.
54. Injury is done to the Word of God when, in the same sermon, an equal or larger amount of time is devoted to indulgences than to the Word.
55. It is certainly the pope's sentiment that if indulgences, which are a very insignificant thing, are celebrated with one bell, one procession, and one ceremony, then the gospel, which is the very greatest thing, should be preached with a hundred bells, a hundred processions, a hundred ceremonies.
56. The true treasures of the church, out of which the pope distributes indulgences, are not sufficiently discussed or known among the people of Christ.
57. That indulgences are not temporal treasures is certainly clear, for many indulgence sellers do not distribute them freely but only gather them.
58. Nor are they the merits of Christ and the saints, for, even without the pope, the latter always work grace for the inner man, and the cross, death, and hell for the outer man.
59. St. Lawrence said that the poor of the church were the treasures of the church, but he spoke according to the usage of the word in his own time.
60. Without want of consideration we say that the keys of the church, given by the merits of Christ, are that treasure.
61. For it is clear that the pope's power is of itself sufficient for the remission of penalties and cases reserved by himself.
62. The true treasure of the church is the most holy gospel of the glory and grace of God.
63. But this treasure is naturally most odious, for it makes the first to be last (Mt. 20:16).
64. On the other hand, the treasure of indulgences is naturally most acceptable, for it makes the last to be first.
65. Therefore the treasures of the gospel are nets with which one formerly fished for men of wealth.
66. The treasures of indulgences are nets with which one now fishes for the wealth of men.
67. The indulgences which the demagogues acclaim as the greatest graces are actually understood to be such only insofar as they promote gain.
68. They are nevertheless in truth the most insignificant graces when compared with the grace of God and the piety of the cross.
69. Bishops and curates are bound to admit the commissaries of papal indulgences with all reverence.
70. But they are much more bound to strain their eyes and ears lest these men preach their own dreams instead of what the pope has commissioned.
71. Let him who speaks against the truth concerning papal indulgences be anathema and accursed.
72. But let him who guards against the lust and license of the indulgence preachers be blessed.
73. Just as the pope justly thunders against those who by any means whatever contrive harm to the sale of indulgences.
74. Much more does he intend to thunder against those who use indulgences as a pretext to contrive harm to holy love and truth.
75. To consider papal indulgences so great that they could absolve a man even if he had done the impossible and had violated the mother of God is madness.
76. We say on the contrary that papal indulgences cannot remove the very least of venial sins as far as guilt is concerned.
77. To say that even St. Peter if he were now pope, could not grant greater graces is blasphemy against St. Peter and the pope.
78. We say on the contrary that even the present pope, or any pope whatsoever, has greater graces at his disposal, that is, the gospel, spiritual powers, gifts of healing, etc., as it is written. (1 Co 12[:28])
79. To say that the cross emblazoned with the papal coat of arms, and set up by the indulgence preachers is equal in worth to the cross of Christ is blasphemy.
80. The bishops, curates, and theologians who permit such talk to be spread among the people will have to answer for this.
81. This unbridled preaching of indulgences makes it difficult even for learned men to rescue the reverence which is due the pope from slander or from the shrewd questions of the laity.
82. Such as: ``Why does not the pope empty purgatory for the sake of holy love and the dire need of the souls that are there if he redeems an infinite number of souls for the sake of miserable money with which to build a church?'' The former reason would be most just; the latter is most trivial.
83. Again, ``Why are funeral and anniversary masses for the dead continued and why does he not return or permit the withdrawal of the endowments founded for them, since it is wrong to pray for the redeemed?''
84. Again, ``What is this new piety of God and the pope that for a consideration of money they permit a man who is impious and their enemy to buy out of purgatory the pious soul of a friend of God and do not rather, beca use of the need of that pious and beloved soul, free it for pure love's sake?''
85. Again, ``Why are the penitential canons, long since abrogated and dead in actual fact and through disuse, now satisfied by the granting of indulgences as though they were still alive and in force?''
86. Again, ``Why does not the pope, whose wealth is today greater than the wealth of the richest Crassus, build this one basilica of St. Peter with his own money rather than with the money of poor believers?''
87. Again, ``What does the pope remit or grant to those who by perfect contrition already have a right to full remission and blessings?''
88. Again, ``What greater blessing could come to the church than if the pope were to bestow these remissions and blessings on every believer a hundred times a day, as he now does but once?''
89. ``Since the pope seeks the salvation of souls rather than money by his indulgences, why does he suspend the indulgences and pardons previously granted when they have equal efficacy?''
90. To repress these very sharp arguments of the laity by force alone, and not to resolve them by giving reasons, is to expose the church and the pope to the ridicule of their enemies and to make Christians unhappy.
91. If, therefore, indulgences were preached according to the spirit and intention of the pope, all these doubts would be readily resolved. Indeed, they would not exist.
92. Away, then, with all those prophets who say to the people of Christ, ``Peace, peace,'' and there is no peace! (Jer 6:14)
93. Blessed be all those prophets who say to the people of Christ, ``Cross, cross,'' and there is no cross!
94. Christians should be exhorted to be diligent in following Christ, their Head, through penalties, death and hell.
95. And thus be confident of entering into heaven through many tribulations rather than through the false security of peace (Acts 14:22).

Archbishop Nichols Speaks on the Vaticans 'Generous Response' to Anglicans
By Archbishop Vincent Nichols
10/22/2009

The Catholic Herald (UK) (www.catholicherald.co.uk/)

Pope Benedict is ready to allow the breadth of the expressions of Catholic life to find their place in the Church.
LONDON (UK Catholic Herald) - The announcement of this Apostolic Constitution has come as a surprise. So, too, has the generosity of its measures. It is important to understand its context as well as its content.

The Apostolic Constitution is the response of Pope Benedict to the approaches which have been made to the Holy See by groups of Anglicans, in different parts of the world, asking for full visible communion within the Catholic Church. It is, then, a response, not an initiative, by the Holy See. It is a response designed to establish a provision which will be equitable and uniform in whatever part of the world it may be taken up.

It has a particular purpose: to permit those who wish to live their faith in full visible union with the See of Peter to do so while also preserving elements of the distinctive Anglican spiritual and liturgical patrimony. So this is a response to those who have declared that they share the common Catholic faith and accept the Pope's ministry as something Christ willed for the Church.

In the words of Cardinal Levada: "For them, the time has come to express this implicit unity in the visible form of full communion." As Archbishop Rowan Williams and I said in our joint statement: "The announcement of this Apostolic Constitution brings to an end a period of uncertainty for such groups who have nurtured hopes of new ways of embracing unity with the Catholic Church."

Much work now opens up, not only for those who hold such faith and will have to consider carefully the formal response of the Holy See, but also for the Catholic community. In approaching this work, some important perspectives have to be kept in mind.

First, this response does not alter our determined and continuing dedication to the pathway of mutual commitment and cooperation between the Church of England and the Catholic Church in this country. The foundations of all the joint work in ARCIC and the International Anglican Roman Catholic Commission for Unity and Mission make clear the path we follow together. An Anglo-Catholic tradition will continue to be a part of the Church of England, nurtured by those who cherish this tradition while not ready to accept the current jurisdiction of the Holy See.

We also need to appreciate what this moment makes clear about the mind of Pope Benedict XVI. I believe this is another illustration of his desire to achieve reconciliation with those who are estranged from the Catholic Church and who show a willingness to be reconciled. This desire is clearly one of the priorities of his pontificate.

As he has written: "In our days, when in vast areas of the world the faith is in danger of dying out like a flame which no longer has fuel, the overriding priority is to make God present in this world and to show men and women the way to God. Not just any god, but the God who spoke on Sinai; to that God whose face we recognise in a love, which presses 'to the end' (cf John 13.1) - in Jesus Christ, crucified and risen ... So if the arduous task of working for faith, hope and love in the world is presently (and in various ways, always) the Church's real priority, then part of this is also made up of acts of reconciliation, small and not so small." (Letter to Bishops, March 10 2009). Reconciliation, then, is a part of the proclamation of the Gospel.

Pope Benedict, we have to remember, is also ready to allow the breadth of the expressions of Catholic life to find their place in the Church. In that same letter he wrote: "But should not the great Church also allow herself to be generous in the knowledge of her great breadth, in the knowledge of the promise made to her? Should not we, as good educators, also be capable of overlooking various faults and making every effort to open up broader vistas?"

The Holy Father clearly believes that legitimate diversity does not threaten the unity of the Church, a unity which is essentially of faith, expressed in visible communion and in the witness of life lived in conformity to the call of the Gospel. While this Apostolic Constitution establishes a single framework for the universal Church, clearly much detail will have to be established locally. Alongside the Constitution there will have to be agreements about the way forward and the practical steps by which Personal Ordinariates, if and when they are established, will be an integral part of the Catholic community, working in close unity with the dioceses of England and Wales. These matters are now to be considered both locally and in close consultation with the Holy See.

This is an extraordinary moment. It is a challenge and an opportunity on many fronts. I salute the courage and generosity of Pope Benedict who has again shown an open and loving heart, just as one would expect of a Holy Father.

Threefold Persecuting Union

Through the two great errors, the immortality of the soul and Sunday sacredness, Satan will bring the people under his deceptions. While the former lays the foundation of Spiritualism, the latter creates a bond of sympathy with Rome. The Protestants of the United States will be foremost in stretching their hands across the gulf to grasp the hand of Spiritualism; they will reach over the abyss to clasp hands with the Roman power; and under the influence of this threefold union, this country will follow in the steps of Rome in trampling on the rights of conscience.--The Great Controversy, p. 588. {ChS 160.1}

Sunday law watchers could miss the latter rain

To wait and watch for the Sunday law and do nothing is the biggest mistake Seventh day Adventist can make . It will come thats for sure. But while the surety of prophetic events are taking place are you sitting by and waiting ..This is the best time to arm ourselves with truth, this is perfect time to ensure we are within the ark.Spiritual perfection must be attained before the Sunday law comes.

While many are waiting for the Sunday law to kick start a series of events in the End Time and in Adventism, certain things need to be on our minds.
One, the latte rain will fall progressively. Then the sudden outpouring that everyone is expecting will come. If you are not involve in the sprinkling you must be careful that you are not one who will mist the Outpouring. Remember those who receive the sprinkling are most likely to receive the torrential downpour, unless of course you leave the faith.
Leading up to the Sunday law the latter rain sprinkling would of already soak many of God's People, A few would of already put away sin in his or her own life in preparation to receive the latter rain drenching. Is there anyone in your congregation calling for reform . Yes /No ? This must not be taken lightly if yes. If no then something is not correct as far as am aware we are Laodecia.
Another thing is this, perfection, which many in the church think and preach as an illusive dream would of been attain by the those who would comprise the 144,000 (whether this group is literal or symbolic thats not the argument here )and the time of trouble would be just the polish, the crucible to finish off gems prepared to meet the Bridegroom.
I forgot to mention the Sunday law would taken on a progressive nature.
No time would we wake up and here the Sunday law is past and enforced by death. It will be passed in some countries most likely in the USA then others countries would follow the US model .No enforcement would be impressed. Then it will be enforced stronger ,then forcefully impressed upon all and then be punishable by death.
Some seem to remove probation from the whole equation, many of us dont think about that part of it. The sealing must take place .Judgement begins at the house of God. If you have doubts about that see Ezekiel 9
Now is the time for all who have been under the banner of truth to make a turn around. Now is the time to bruise our knees in petition asking God to remove every sin from us and SIN NOMORE. The mystery should be completed Rev 10:7 , what is the mystery ? Col 1:25-28 . . In the anti-typical day of atonement Isreal would be agonising in prayer to ensure that sins have gone before hand to be blotted out according the the sanctuary service. This is the time to be in spiritual sackcloth and ashes. The sacrifice would of been consuming on the alter in the outer court. Sacrifice consuming in fire decrease, not in increase. This is not time for Gods people to be investing in plans for larger returns, this is not the time to focus on building bigger barns,.Sacrifices ,our means should be used for spreading the truth/the gospel.

Many have in a great measure failed to receive the former rain. They have not obtained all the benefits that God has thus provided for them. They expect that the lack will be supplied by the latter rain. When the richest abundance of grace shall be bestowed, they intend to open their hearts to receive it. They are making a terrible mistake. The work that God has begun in the human heart in giving His light and knowledge must be continually going forward. Every individual must realize his own necessity. The heart must be emptied of every defilement and cleansed for the indwelling of the Spirit. It was by the confession and forsaking of sin, by earnest prayer and consecration of themselves to God, that the early disciples prepared for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost. The same work, only in greater degree, must be done now. Then the human agent had only to ask for the blessing, and wait for the Lord to perfect the work concerning him. It is God who began the work, and He will finish His work, making man complete in Jesus Christ. But there must be no neglect of the grace represented by the former rain. Only those who are living up to the light they have will receive greater light. Unless we are daily advancing in the exemplification of the active Christian virtues, we shall not recognize the manifestations of the Holy Spirit in the latter rain. It may be falling on hearts all around us, but we shall not discern or receive it. >The latter rain is drizzling at this time.Wake up and feel the moisture remnant people. when i read Daniel and Revelation i cant help but see "How geat thou Art"

O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When through the woods, and forest glades I wander,
And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees.
When I look down, from lofty mountain grandeur
And see the brook, and feel the gentle breeze.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When Christ shall come, with shout of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

Rejecting truth is accompanied by severe consequences

"If the truth for this time, if the signs that are thickening on every hand, that testify that the end of all things is at hand, are not sufficient to arouse the sleeping energy of those who profess to know the truth, then darkness proportionate to the light which has been shining will overtake these souls."

source: Ellen G white in the book (Ye shall receive power.page 310)

Unless you arise to a higher, holier attitude in your religious life, you will not be ready for the appearing of our Lord. There are many who are not purifying their souls by obeying the truth. As great light has been given them, God expects proportionate zeal, devotion, and faithfulness upon the part of his people. But there will be proportionate darkness, unbelief, and blindness as the truth is not appreciated and acted upon.

{ source: Ellen G white .Review and Herald, December 11, 1888 par. 2}

Let none plead as an excuse for not keeping the Sabbath, that their fathers died accepted of God when keeping the first day of the week. No doubt they were accepted; for they did not sin against the light that is shining upon you in your day. God would have us walk in the light which shines upon us. We are to appreciate the truth that is presented to our understanding; for if we do not walk in the light, it becomes darkness, and our darkness will be proportionate to the light that is given. {Review and Herald , April 25, 1893 par. 11}

Pope Benedict approves decree setting up new worldwide institution to receive Anglican communities

Pope Benedict XVI set out the new arrangements between the Roman Catholic church and Anglican communities in an apostolic constitution. Photograph: Max Rossi/Reuters

More than half a million Anglicans are set to join the Roman Catholic church following an announcement from the Vatican today that Pope Benedict XVI had approved a decree setting up a new worldwide institution to receive them.

It will be the first time since the Reformation in the 16th century that entire communities of Protestants have reunited with Rome. The first group to take advantage of the new rules is expected to be the Traditional Anglican Community (TAC), which separated from the rest of the Anglican community in 1991 and has more than 500,000 members worldwide.

Reflecting the importance of Rome's initiative, the pope set out the new arrangements in a so-called apostolic constitution, the highest form of pontifical decree.

Benedict's chief theological adviser, the US cardinal William Levada, said the decree had been drawn up "to respond to the numerous requests that have been submitted to the Holy See by groups of Anglican clerics and believers from various parts of the world who wish to enter into full and visible communion" with Rome.

He said that, under the new arrangements, Anglican communities that joined the Catholic church would be able to keep their own liturgy while remaining outside the existing dioceses. Their pastoral care would be entrusted instead to their own senior prelates, who would not necessarily become Catholic bishops. This is a way around the problem that in the Catholic church, as in the Orthodox churches, married men are not allowed to become bishops.

" When Protestantism shall stretch her hand across the gulf to grasp the hand of the Roman power, when she shall reach over the abyss to clasp hands with spiritualism, when, under the influence of this threefold union, our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near.--

What Happens If the Dollar Crashes
byBy Peter Coy BusinessWeek New Business October 14, 2009, 7:08PM EST

The financial crisis taught us that markets can drop further and faster than anyone expects. Housing prices, for example, fell for three straight years starting in 2006, even though the conventional wisdom right up until the bust began was that prices would not fall even a little bit.

Let's apply some of our hard-won knowledge to the dollar, which is also supposed to be resistant to a bust. After weakening gradually since 2002, the greenback rose during the financial crisis last year. It has fallen roughly 15% since March as investors moved to higher-yielding currencies. The conventional wisdom is that at these levels the dollar is cheap and, if anything, due for a rebound. "Currencies don't go much more than 20% from their long-term averages in real [inflation-adjusted] terms. We're there already," says Michael Dooley, an economist who is co-founder and research chief of Cabezon Capital Management, a San Francisco investment firm.

But it's worth at least thinking about the possibility of a dollar bust. The reason the housing bust had such devastating consequences was a failure of imagination: Lenders, regulators, credit raters, and others simply couldn't believe that house prices would ever fall the way they did, so they were blindsided.

Bank Blowups Possible

Let's imagine the dollar quickly dropped by a further 25% against each major world currency, roughly parallel to housing's unprecedented 30% decline. That would mean it would take $2 to buy a single euro. On the good side, U.S. manufacturers would find it easier to compete globally, and foreign tourism would boom in the U.S. On the bad side, inflation in the U.S. would zoom because of the rising cost of imported products. Americans would have even more trouble getting a loan as foreign buyers pull out of the debt market.

Abroad, the cheap dollar would make it harder for other nations to export to the U.S., hurting their growth. China could face social unrest. Trade wars could break out. And there could be blowups at overexposed banks whose risk managers were sure no such dollar bust could happen. As investor Warren Buffett once said: "You only find out who is swimming naked when the tide goes out."

Federal regulators are monitoring banks for a wide variety of risks, including the threat of a dollar bust: "We're not looking quarter to quarter, we're looking hour to hour and minute to minute at what those risks are," says one regulator who requested anonymity.

From its spring peak, the dollar is down 11% against the Japanese yen, 16% against the euro, 21% against the Canadian dollar, and about 30% against the Brazilian and Australian currencies, which are benefiting from a commodity price spike. Against a broad market basket of all U.S. trading partners, and adjusted for inflation, the dollar has fallen 15% from its spring high.

Deficits Depress Dollar

Behind the dollar's weakness are near-zero short-term U.S. interest rates. As they once did with yen, investors are borrowing dollars cheaply, then selling them to buy currencies of countries whose stocks and bonds promise better returns. The Federal Reserve is keeping the federal funds rate at a rock-bottom zero to 0.25% to stimulate the U.S. economy and heal the banks, but a side result is the dollar has turned into the preferred fuel for an international speculative play that is weighing down the greenback.

Another force driving down the dollar: continued U.S. trade deficits, which the U.S. is paying for by borrowing from the rest of the world. Some economists and traders believe that eventually the U.S. will be forced to devalue its own currency to make its global debt more affordable. While the trade gap has narrowed to less than 3% of gross domestic product in the second quarter from 6% at its peak in 2006, it is still high by historical standards.

Now, some of the foreign central banks that have propped up the dollar seem to be getting cold feet. Instead of buying just dollars for their foreign-exchange reserves, they're diversifying into other currencies. The countries that reveal the composition of their reserve holdings put 63% of their new reserves into euros and yen in the second quarter, according to an analysis by Barclays Capital (BCS). Says Steven Englander, Barclays' chief U.S. currency strategist: "Their incentive is to try to do stealth diversification, not 'get me out of here at any price.' " (China, with more than $2 trillion worth of reserves, doesn't reveal what currencies in which it holds the funds.)

Obama Administration officials don't seem perturbed by the dollar's slide so far. A weaker dollar helps shrink the trade deficit by making American-made goods more competitive in world markets. Drew Greenblatt, owner of Marlin Steel Wire Products in Baltimore, which makes high-tech baskets for assembly lines, says he's winning orders from countries that are better known as exporters. Exults Greenblatt: "We are shipping ice to Eskimos."

This state of calm would vanish overnight, though, if the financial markets got a sense that the dollar's decline was starting to snowball out of control. At that point, the invisible "force field" protecting the dollar would fade away, says Martin D. Weiss, chairman of Weiss Group, a financial data and analysis firm in Jupiter, Fla. Says Weiss: "We would become more like ordinary mortals and more vulnerable to attacks on our currency."

The bearish case for the dollar is that the decline takes on a life of its own. Selling begets more selling. The world's central bankers and finance ministers intervene to prop up the currency, but speculators, having tasted victory, aren't scared off. Princeton University economist Paul R. Krugman once called this the Wile E. Coyote scenario, after the character in the Road Runner cartoons who runs off a cliff but doesn't start to fall until he looks down and sees there's nothing beneath his feet.

Speculation that the dollar is headed for a tumble can become self-fulfilling if traders rush for the exit. Ashraf Laidi, chief foreign exchange strategist at CMC Markets, a London currency and commodity brokerage, says "right now there is around a 30% to 40% chance we are going to see the dollar falling toward a crisis point."

Dollar bulls like to point out that the currency rallied strongly last year during the worst of the financial crisis. But Laidi says that was no show of support for the dollar or the U.S. economy. Rather, he says, investors retreated from all types of risk and put their money into the most liquid, short-term instruments they could find—which just happened to be U.S. Treasury bills, which are held in accounts all over the world. Agrees Barclays' Englander: "It wasn't a long-term bet that the U.S. economy would be the most dynamic in the world."

Inflation Could Emerge Quickly

Currency traders don't put much stock in the statements of support for a strong dollar by Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner and other Administration officials. They note that Treasury chiefs dating back to the Clinton Administration have said they support a strong dollar, yet the U.S. has not supported its currency through purchases since 1995.

If the dollar did tumble, import prices might rise faster than most economists now expect. New research by Columbia University economists Emi Nakamura and Jon Steinsson shows that the "pass-through" from a cheap currency to high import prices was underestimated because of poor data. In other words, inflation could emerge more quickly than is commonly believed. It would be disastrous for the economy if the Federal Reserve had to jack up interest rates to cool inflation or defend the currency while growth remained weak. A lower dollar makes Americans poorer by cutting the purchasing power of their currency. And there's no guarantee it would bolster U.S. industry, says David Malpass, president of New York research firm Encima Global. Malpass says the fall of the dollar in the late 1980s hurt rather than helped Detroit by giving Japan the buying power to strengthen its automakers. Says Mallpass: "We can make ourselves poor enough that we can't import very much and we'll have balanced trade. But how would that be good for the U.S.?"

In the short run, the biggest risk would be the failure of some firm that made a highly leveraged bet that was vulnerable to a falling dollar. A dollar plunge would affect not only currency trades but also interest-rate derivatives and credit default swaps. Five big banks accounted for 88% of the credit-risk exposure from derivatives in the entire U.S. banking system in the second quarter.

No one knows whether the dollar is headed for disaster. But assuming the best is perilous.

Matthew 24:24 We can expect to see increase supernatural occurances

No explanation for the Halo above Russia is given.
this was indeed a site to behold what was it really?

The world can expect a plethora of supernatural occurrences as we approach the end of the world. The erroneous 2012 is fast approaching( see the deception video), so the agencies of Evil with empowerment from the arch deceiver himself Satan will work with increase power and manifestation. All focus will shift and nothing will be spared to deceive a world druged on the entertainment industry, wealth and every conceivable distraction. All This is geared towards turning men's heart from the truth of the Bible and filling hearts with fear.
The time is fast approaching as the winds of strife are slowly loosening even the elements are left to the manipulation of the prince of darkness. See Job 1 the whole chapter.

This tells me something! If Satan is making an effort to deceive en mass, then that suggest God is making a move. When ever God sends a messenger or a message ,Satan sends a counterfeit.
Remember Elijah on Mount Carmel 1kings 18. Jeremiah had to deal with false prophets too.
As a rule where God sends truth ,Satan sends the counter in false prophet to guide the minds of the people away from the truth.

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Satan will work "with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness." And all that "received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved," will be left to accept "strong delusion, that they should believe a lie." [2 THESS. 2:9-11.] When this state of ungodliness shall be reached, the same results will follow as in the first centuries. {GC88 443.4}

On the contrary, it is the miracle-working power of the great deceiver. He is a transgressor of the moral law, and employs every device that he can master to blind men to its true character. We are warned that in the last days he will work with signs and lying wonders. And he will continue these wonders until the close of probation, that he may point to them as evidence that he is an angel of light and not of darkness. {Mar 148.4}

In these last days the agency of the evil one will be hidden under a cloak of godliness, so that if it were possible even the very elect would be deceived. The word of God declares that Satan will work "with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish." His miracle-working power will be displayed to its utmost. But none who wish to know the truth need be deceived. God has promised to give to his people the Spirit of truth, to guide them into all truth. {RH, November 5, 1889 par. 9}

Spiritualists claim superior light and power. They have opened the door and invited the prince of darkness in, and have made him their honored guest. They have allied themselves to the powers of darkness which are developing in these last days in signs and wonders, that if it were possible they would deceive the very elect. Spiritualists claim that they can do greater miracles than Christ did. Satan made the same boasts to Christ. Because the Son of God had linked Himself to the weakness of humanity, to be tempted in all points like as man should be tempted, Satan triumphed over Him, and taunted Him. He boasted of his superior strength, and dared Him to open a controversy with him. {Con 87.2}

The coming of the Lord is to be preceded by "the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness." 2 Thessalonians 2:9,10. And the apostle John, describing the miracle-working power that will be manifested in the last days, declares: "He doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do." Revelation 13:13, 14. No mere impostures are here foretold. Men are deceived by the miracles which Satan's agents have power to do, not which they pretend to do. {GC 553.2}

The woman=the church=the city on seven Hills

REVELATION 17
1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.
9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.
15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.
18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Let Him in

Just like an angel ( Neville Peter)

Is there anything new ?

ECCLESIASTES 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
11 There is no remembrance of former things ; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

Beheading predicted in Bible-now law in USA(for good reasons of course)

A year ago I read this article about a Guillotine law being enacted in the USA . I was shocked then. Someone reading a similar article on the net came across it and pointed to my attention that this was supported by Revelation 20:4. By then, my interest peaked again on the subject.
The Bible predictions in no uncertain terms.
Now listen or read what John saw in vision of the end, telling of the end times in the book of Revelation - the Book of books.
These are the events prophesied to come. These have not taken place yet.

Revelation 20:4

2. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3.And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4.And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

The U.S law enacted

Georgia House of Representatives - 1995/1996 Sessions HB 1274 - Death penalty; guillotine provisions

Pay attention to section 2

note the reasons are fairly ok reasons :
1-13 this legislation is to provide for a method of execution
1-14 which is compatible with the donation of organs by a
1-15 condemned prisoner.

Do you know whats the cost of body organs ?...

Putting the pieces together Mathew 24 :4-10
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And all of you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that all of you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
All these are the beginning of sorrows.
Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and all of you shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
But fear not these punishment are only for those who keep God's commandments ..all 10.

Now, this link gives more details about that which I believe. The writer got his
information from varied source.

Triple action in The Bible (1+2=3)

The Bible says on the testimony of two a thing is established. Here is the proof.

Deuteronomy 17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.

Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established.

Ruth 4:11 And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:

Matthew 18:16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

2Corinthians 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

1Timothy 5:19 Against an elder receive not an accusation, but before two or three witnesses.

Hebrews 10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Revelation 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

These are but a few statement to prove this fact. Here is the cherry on the cake.
Christ and The father Testify of The spirit. The spirit and Christ testify of the father,The father and the spirit confirms the son.
having said that.We move on to the this principle being applied to Bible prophecy.

It appears that there is a triple action law throughout the Bible. This is where something occurs only three times. If you add the first two histories you get the identical for the 3rd.
This laws involves types of threes .
An easy one is the "THREE ELIJAHs". There are many more in the Bible but i would highlight this one today.

The bible tells us plainly if you read carefully there are three Elijahs
1. Elijah
2. John the Baptist (Elijah 2)
3.The one more described in Malachi 4:5 ( Elijah 3 at the end of the world)

Now end time Bible students have unearth this pattern This technical yet precise patterns with the Elijah.

GOD'S MESSENGER-----CIVIL POWER----HARLOT------FALSE PROPHET

1. Elijah1(translated)-----Ahab------Jezebel------Prophets of Baal

2. John the Baptist(beheaded)----Herod------Herodias-----Salome

3. You and I Hopefully-------Dragon------Beast----False prophet (Rev16:13

Elijah 3 explained :You and me We are hopefully elijah 3, The UN is the civil authority represented as the dragon. sister white says kings and rulers (civil) take on the description as the dragon power. The Papacy the impure woman(harlot of Revelation) and finally the United states(Rev 13:13,14,15) showing false prophet qualities(the capital of protestism).

Notice all the impure women are in an adulterous relationship with the the Civil powers and it is the Elijahs that confronts them that cause the impure woman in all the scenarios to ask for the head of the messenger of God. But the plan is not a straight forward one to kill Gods messengers, Only when a deceptive dance is done the barbaric plan to kill God's messenger is reveal.

Take not the impure woman is always behind the scenes she is never at the confrontation between The Elijahs and the Civil power. But due to the deceptive dance done The heart of the Civil power is always won and the reward for such a dance is the head of Gods prophets.

Will God people be beheaded ? Some of them will be ,not all Read Rev 20:4 and a few verses before .
Will those who are not beheaded those who survive the slaughter of Daniel 11:44 and Revelation 13:15 be the 144,000

Lets continue to look in Gods words for answers He promise to give them before the great and dreadful day Daniel 12:10 ,Daniel 12:4 ..We will understand these things.. The Holy spirit will Guide us to all truth he is doing it now.

This law also applies to the 3 woes in Rev 9 and Rev 11 ( 911) God gave us the facts in long before hand)

I take no credit for this amazing find. see the links

http://theseventhunders.com/

Just found another one..

I heard it in a sermon its a good one ..

Tidings out of the East. There are more details of the tidings out of the east that identifies a particular people. but for now i just want to share the triple action..and this is also prophetic.I will probably post the details another time..

This one involves tiding out of the east that dethrones a kingdom and usher in the beginning of another. This one is also prophetic..

Wise men brought --Tidings out of the east ---troubles Herod. Matthew 2:1-19
Cyrus ----comes from the east--troubles Belshazzar .Daniel 5:1-31
Kings of the east(Rev16:12) brings ---Tidings from east---troubles the king of the North. (Daniel 11:4)

With the Wise men ,Cyrus,Kings of the east they all bring news which is good news but the news troubles the Kings

After Darius the Meade ,The Persia Cyrus ruled, a The Meads and the Persian (Dan 2:31-36,38 conquered Babylon and freed the people of Daniel the same people who broke the covenant made between themselves and God,which resulted in them being slaved to Nebuchadnezzar the grandfather of Belshazzar.

While Belshazzar was indulging in the pleasures of this life ,wine women and song. The writing appeared on the wall from a bloodless hand..We know the story Mene ,mene tekel upharsin Daniel 5:25 which actually means your kingdom has come to and end and divided. Daniel 5:26. That very night Darius' armies did one of the most marvelous military maneuvers by drying up the EUPHRATES that ran through the city river crept under the water barriers and enter into the city while Darius and his people were intoxicated. That very night Belshazzar was killed and Babylon fell.
Here is evidence of the prophetical parallel in Rev16:12.
Now : ..Before the cross all Prophetic utterances were literal example Numbers 24:17 talking about Christ coming( a star he calls it)..After the cross all prophetic utterances will come trough (2Peter 1:19 ), but in a spiritual sense.

We know that waters and rivers represent people you can verify the long way here and here and here or the short route here :Rev17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

So in Revelation where it talks about the Euphrates being dried up we know its Spiritual Euphrates ,spiritual water,we know its the representation of water that is being dried up. This is the people being dried up.. Wait a min are you saying that people will literally dry up ..No .Am saying that people will spiritually be dried up from the Beast(The King of the North,The papacy).
How can a people be dried up..
Listen to this ..The Aids epidemic is drying up the people of Africa what does that mean ..Its destroying the Human resources. The potential.. of the people.

So in this sense in Rev its talking about the Euphrates drying up meaning all earthly support of people will be remove from Babylon(The Papacy)

So in this triple action it is clearly seen that when you add the histories of
  1. Tidings in the first history from the men from the east
  2. Tidings from the blood less hands to Darius & Cyrus coming who was from the east.
  3. You get history of the kings who are not literal kings but a people who will deliver a message so potent in righteousness it will bring down Babylons support symbolized as Euphrates or waters.. God foretold the fall of Modern end time Babylon in Daniel 11:44 and Revelation 16:12.
The details of the two histories when you add them gives you the end time details already told to us in Daniel and Revelation.
