Who are the Many that are overthrown

 The battle for the throne of the World and the souls of men, Is it a physical battle or a spiritual battle here with the King of the North?

More so a spiritual battle.

It is essential to observe in Daniel 2,7,8,11 When Pagan Rome comes up it is primarily state craft, state rule and as the previous kingdoms of Greece Medio Persia and Babaylon; Kingly rule is the way  the kingdom is run.

But when the little horn power comes into being we are in the time period of the Iron and clay  Pagan Rome’s Iron rule mixed with Miry clay or a contaminated Christianity of the Bishops of Rome who became the Popes of Rome.

The historical evidence is when Justinien emperor of Rome made the Pope of Rome the head of the church and corrector of Heretics he now had the power of Eclesiastical authority. Then given a state to rule from the Vatican, he also has kingly authority.

Ephesians 6:12

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” 

So it's a spiritual war that is going on here

Daniel 11:41 (b)

“He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.”

Who are the “many” that shall be overthrown

The word countries was supplied by the translators ,it was not in the original text hence it is italicized (in italics) in the King James Bible.Thus the many are a people inside the Glorious land who will be overthrown.

God is a God of detail. Who are the many then ?

Mark 13:6  

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

2nd Testimony 

Matthew 7:22  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Thus the many here  claim the name of Christ,they are Christian head quatered in the Glorious land . Many will come fully under the banner of Roman Papal system, which historically the left.

What does it mean to be overthrown?

What does it mean to be overthrown spiritually? First the natural, then the spiritual!

And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them unto Gerar: and the Ethiopians were overthrown, that they could not recover themselves; for they were destroyed before the LORD, and before his host; and they carried away very much spoil.

To overthrown means to scatter

Psalms 106 :26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:

27To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

Best example of a people scattered is Ancient Israel .

Why were they overthrown ? God was displeased!

1 Corinthians 10:5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

Spiritual Fornication was the character trait of Esau, father of the Edomite also Moab and Amon.

They that left the covenant of God has forsaken His  Gods way ,But many will here the call to leave Babylon  via the only The Gospel the one Gospel Christ gospel.

The one Gospel that is Christ gospel

What or where is the Glorious land?

The glorious land

That  Hebrew word for “glorious” is: tsbiy From Strong’s H6638 in the sense of prominence;

splendor (as conspicuous); also a gazelle (as beautiful): - beautiful (-ty), glorious (-ry), goodly,

pleasant, roe (-buck).

Where can we find in the bible a place where any of the above adjectives is connected to a land ?

Back in Daniel 8:9  

And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land.

Where was this pleasant land, who did the Little horn power conquer after removing three horns of the Heruli ,the  Vandals and  the Ostrogoths ?

History reminds us that the little horn power that removed the 3 horns (powers) waxed great towards  Egypt in the south ,Syria in  the east  and towards Judea the pleasant land which is in Palestine.

Thus the pleasant land literally is Palestine!

The biblical glorious land was called the glory of all lands,flowing with milk and honey, Why ? 

It provided the Israelites with an abundance of food, comfort,and blessings.

And where was this land flowing with milk and honey ? Canaan!

What was the reason for freeing the Israelites from Egyptian bondage?

Freedom to worship.

Exodus 9:1 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

The Glorious Land is a proud land See Isaiah 28

Isaiah 28:1 Woe to the crown of pride, to the drunkards of Ephraim, whose glorious beauty is a fading flower, which are on the head of the fat valleys of them that are overcome with wine!

What are fat valleys ? fertile lands

Psalms 48:2  Beautifully situated is the glorious land 

Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.

Numbers 34:2 Land of Inheritance

Command the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land of Canaan; (this is the land that shall fall unto you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan with the coasts thereof:)

Summary The glorious land is:

• A good land .

• A modern day Canaan flowing with milk and honey.

• Land filled with fertility,its a fat land.

• Land of freedom .

• With freedom to worship.

• The glory of all Land , beautiful land .

• Beautifully situated,the joy of the whole earth.

Where in the world after 1798 fit the above description of the glorious land? The United States of America.

The USA is a fertile land, land where freedom to live and worship is highly esteemed,a blessed land, the land where all desire to go,the joy of the whole earth.

So the king of the North  Papacy now enters into the Glorious Land America

Daniel 11:40 B The King of the North shall come at the King of the South as a whirlwind ,with chariots and horsemen and many ships

 Here we are in Daniel 11:40 which says:-

  Daniel 11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. 

From thorough study of scripture line upon line ,comparing scripture with scripture we found.

The time of the end was 1798 .

The king of the south is the king of Egypt , Pharaoh,  which symbolically is Atheism.

The King of the North is king of Babylon  symbolically is the  Papacy. 

To push means to war against. So the King of the south wars against the Papacy this was fulfilled in 1798 the time of the end as predicted by God in the history of Napoleon who removed Pope Pius from his seat  of power in Vatican Rome and exiled him where he died. At that time the Papacy lost its Political power  and ecliesiastical / church power

So we are at this  point where the King of the North (Papal Rome ) retaliates in Daniel 11:40 the second Phrase It reads :

"and the king of the north shall come against him ( king of the South ( Atheism) like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; "

What does it mean to come as a whirlwind?

The conduct of trade by sea is done the same today using ships of a modern kind, this is trade commerce, business by sea. Today the use of ships is indispensable.

How is trade or commerce used in war against a nation ? 

Stop buying and selling to and from a nation and you can bring a nation to its knees ,its called sanctions.

Clark, Reagan's National Security Adviser. Most of their discussion focused on Israel's invasion of Lebanon, then in its second day; Haig told them Prime Minister Menachem Begin had assured him that the invasion would not go farther than 25 miles inside Lebanon.

But Reagan and the Pope spent only a few minutes reviewing events in the Middle East. Instead they remained focused on a subject much closer to their heart: Poland and the Soviet dominance of Eastern Europe. (Communism ) In that meeting, Reagan and the Pope agreed to undertake a clandestine campaign to hasten the dissolution of the communist empire. Declares Richard Allen, Reagan's first National Security Adviser: "This was one of the great secret alliances of all time."

 

Reagan came in with very simple and strongly held views," says Admiral Bobby Inman, former deputy director of the CIA. "It is a valid point of view that he saw the collapse ((of communism)) coming and he pushed it -- hard." During the first half of 1982, a five-part strategy emerged that was aimed at bringing about the collapse of the Soviet economy, fraying the ties that bound the U.S.S.R. to its client states in the Warsaw Pact and forcing reform inside the Soviet empire. Elements of that strategy included:

-- Increased use of Radio Liberty, Voice of America and Radio Free Europe to transmit the Administration's messages to the peoples of Eastern Europe.

.Less than three weeks before his meeting with the Pope in 1982, the President signed a secret national-security-decision directive (NSDD 32) that authorized a range of economic, diplomatic and covert measures to "neutralize efforts of the U.S.S.R." to maintain its hold on Eastern Europe. In practical terms, the most important covert operations undertaken were those inside Poland. The primary purposes of NSDD 32 were to destabilize the Polish government through covert operations involving propaganda and organizational aid to Solidarity; the promotion of human rights, particularly those related to the right of worship and the Catholic Church; economic pressure; and diplomatic isolation of the communist regime. The document, citing the need to defend democratic reform efforts throughout the Soviet empire, also called for increasing propaganda and underground broadcasting operations in Eastern Europe, actions that Reagan's aides and dissidents in Eastern Europe believe were particularly helpful in chipping away at the notion of Soviet invincibility.

So from the above article in Time magazine we can see the king of the North ( Papal Rome led by Pope John Paul II) did  bring down Atheism (Communism) with the help of the United States( Ronald Ragan and CIA) first targeted Poland using the instruments of the cold war and economic power via sanctions. This had a domino effect and broke the power of the USSR and thus resulted in the fall of the Berlin wall in 1989, This fulfilled the prophetic narrative given by Daniel over 2000 years ago found in Daniel 11:40 part B.

Daniel 11 further repeats and gives so much detail on Daniel 2,7,8 that God dissolves all  doubt in the mind of who these ruling kingdoms are and what shall come to pass in the time of the end.

In Daniel 11:2 And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.

This is the conflict  between Ram  with two horns( Medio Persia) and the He goat with one notable horn, Alexander  in Daniel 8 repeated.

Who won that battle?

 The bible in Daniel 2,7 and 8 tells us Greece, but lets look in Daniel 11 verse 3 it says:

“And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.” this is none other than Alexander the Great. 

What happened to Alexander  and his kingdom?

Daniel 11:4

“And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.”

Where are the four winds of heaven ?

Jeremiah 49:36 

And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation whither the outcasts of Elam shall not come.

1 Chronicles 9:24 

In four quarters were the porters, toward the east, west, north, and south.

Alexander’s kingdom divided East West North and South and weakened, 

Historical fact : The kingdom was left  to  Alexander’s Generals, 36 of them. As years progressed the generals  made sure all the kinfolk of Alexander were killed.  They fought till there was only 4 left  the bible here introduce specifically Alexander's empire which was all of former Babylon all of the great persian empire as divided into sections called the four winds ,East West North & South.  

These four fought till there were two left; Ptolemy in the south ,he controlled the geographical area of Egypt And Seleucus he controlled Syria which was the center of all of Babylon which was North. Grecian kingdom as a whole  crumbles at Alexander's death and the warring factions  controlled swaths of territory as far as the Asian provinces in the East to Gaul (France) in the West Babyloniaprovinces  in the North and Egypt and syria in the south

Last week we saw  in Daniel 8:9

“And out of one of them came forth a little horn,

Who is “them” ? is it Greece ?  

Daniel 11:4 sasy for his kingdom(Greece) shall be plucked up”

“And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.”

It is from this verse onward whoever controls the geographical area that these two kings Seleucus in the North including all of Babylon and Ptolemy in the south consisting of Egypt is considered the king of the North and the king of the South respectively.  The North and South is reference from the homeland of the Prophet which is Palestine Canaan

Daniel 11 details that runs through the history of the King of the North and south

Daniel 11:5And the king of the south(ptolemy) shall be strong, and one of his (Alexander’s)princes; and he (north) shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion. 6And in the end of years they shall join themselves together; for the king's daughter of the south(Bernice) shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement(marriage): but she shall not retain the power of the arm; neither shall he stand, nor his arm: but she shall be given up, and they that brought her, and he that begat her, and he that strengthened her in these times. 7But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail:

South king Ptolemy Philadelphus, 2nd king in Egypt gives his daughter Bernice as a dowry to northern king AntiocusTheos, third king of Syria as an agreement for peace .Antiocus Theos puts away his wife Laodice and her two sons. Antiochus after a while in a fit of love brought back his wife Laodice and puts away Bernice( the south kings daughter). Laodice not trusting her husband fickle mind, had Antiochus poisoned and Bernice, her son and helpers killed . But out of the branch of her roots ( Bernice’s brother) who then mounts the throne in Egypt after his fathers death amasses a large army and  avenges the brutal killing of his sister Bernice and the South at this juncture prevails.

These power goes back and forth till imperial Rome is introduced ruling in the North

Remember the little horn power 

• Came out of Rome uprooting 3 horns.
• Rome took over Alexander’s kingdom and out of one of the areas where the 4 generals rule came up the little horn power.
• Was a mixture of kingly rule and Religion ,Iron and clay.
• Speaks great words( blaspheme) against the Most High.claiming to be God.
• Persecute  the saints for time, times and half of time .1260yrs.
• Persecute the woman in Rev12 and trample truth to the ground.

Daniel 11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

When is the time of the end.’

When is the “Time of the end”,  where else can we find this phrase?

Dan 11: Verse 35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

So connected to the time of the end is What event? Persecution by Death,trials,genocide

For context  verse 33And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

Where again can we see a people Persecuted ? 

Daniel 12:5 Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.

6And one said to the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

7And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Who were the holy people? Saints of the most High

Daniel 7:25 And he (little horn) shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

How long were they persecuted for because remember its till the time of the end ?

Above verse says: ” time and times and the dividing of time” 1260 yrs.

When did the Little horn, the persecuting power  in Daniel 7:25 began his reign ?

Daniel 8:11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.  

History tells us the little horn power the Papacy that persecuted the saints and cast the truth to the ground for 1260 yrs began his reign 538 AD His reign ends 1260yrs after 1260 years leads us to 1798.. So the time of the end is began in 1798

In 1798 who is the king of the South?

South is Egypt was it literal Egypt?

 1 Corinthians 15:46 “Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.”

Who had the characteristics of Egypt?

Exodus 5:2  Atheistic

“And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.”

I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great.

1 Kings 22:11

“And Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron: and he said, Thus saith the LORD, With these shalt thou push the Syrians, until thou have consumed them.”

Who was the king of the North in 1798 ? 

Remember the king of the North is the one that rules the geographical north that would be Babylon opposite to Egypt but  was Babylon in power in 1798?

Jeremiah 25:9. Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith the LORD, and

Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land,

and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will

utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual

desolations. 

The northern kingdom Babylon move from the hands of Nebuchadnessar to the Medio persia to Greece to the four generals  then then to the Roman Caesars then to the little horn we know as the papacy the Papacy existed in 1798 and the history proves true:-

Pope Pius VI was arrested by French General Berthier in 1798  and political power was taken when the pope was sent into exile where he died.

So the king of the  South Athiestic France war a gainst the King of the north the little Horn power the Papacy taking his power away in 1798 where he died in exile shortly there after.
