Events sorounding the 3 Hebrew boys in Daniel 3 will repeat with striking simularity

This story in Daniel 3 Fascinate me no less now than it did, many many years ago as a little lad.
Its amazing to see 3 young men,stand up to a king and overcame the pressure of a whole empire looking on as the command was given to bow to the image at Dura.
As i said in the subject line ,similar scenes will play out as we come close to the coming of our Lord.

1. An Image was set up
2. A command went forth to all on the plain.
3. A choice had to be made by the followers of God.
4. Disobedience to the commands would be meted with sever punishment
5. The law was not enforced strictly on the first command.
6. A second chance was given.
7. The famous 3 had already made up their minds long in advance ,how ever they were in attendance,they did all in their power not to disrespect any command as long as it did go contrary to The God of the universe commandments.
8. Disobedience was punished.
9. God protected the famous 3
10 Jehovah's name power and Name was recognized by all within the empires as all present when back to their various provinces.
11. All of the then world now knew about the God of the Jews and that He is a Deliverer.

We discovered from the previous post that one of the thing we can observe in prophecy is that it repeats...There is a logical reason for that .. Man has not change and also the way in which a God deals with our sin and His faithful few has not change.. therefor we can expect similar outcomes in the future click here for the handout if you have never seen it before.

There is also a biblical declaration of such a concept:
Ecclesiastes 1:9 “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. 10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.”
So from Hebrew boys experience in Daniel 3 we know that an image will be set up close to the end Just before Michael stands up in the time of trouble such as never was and will never be( it will happen once)

1. A false Image will be set up,not a physical image this time .But in the future false sabbath .It will be some command that will be declared universally that breaks one of the ten commandment in this case a false sabbath.

Romanists declare that "the observance of Sunday by the Protestants is an homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of the [Catholic] Church." ["PLAIN TALK ABOUT PROTESTANTISM," P. 213.] The enforcement
of Sunday-keeping on the part of Protestant churches is an enforcement of the worship of the papacy--of the beast. Those who, understanding the claims of the fourth commandment, choose to observe the false instead of the true Sabbath; are thereby paying homage to that power by which alone it is commanded. But in the very act of enforcing a religious duty by secular power, the churches would themselves form an image to the beast; hence the enforcement of Sunday-keeping in the United States would be an enforcement of the worship of the beast and his image.

2 . A command, a decree will go forth

A time is coming when the law of God is, in a special sense, to be made void in our land [the United States]. The rulers of our nation will, by legislative enactments, enforce the Sunday law, and thus God's people will be brought into great peril. When our nation, in its legislative councils, shall enact laws to bind the consciences of men in regard to their religious privileges, enforcing Sunday observance, and bringing oppressive power to bear against those who keep the seventh-day Sabbath, the law of God will, to all intents and purposes, be made void in our land.

3. A choice had to be made by the followers of God.

What is it to serve God?--It is to resemble Him in character, to imitate Him. To serve God is to obey Him, to keep His commandments, to make an open confession of standing, not under the black banner of the great apostate, but under the blood-stained banner of Prince Emmanuel. Those who serve God strive earnestly to obey His will. Thus they show to what army they belong.

The mark of the beast is the opposite of this,--the observance of the first day of the week as the sabbath enforced by human law. This mark distinguishes those who acknowledge the supremacy of the papal authority from those who acknowledge the authority of God.

4. Disobedience to the commands would be meted with sever punishment

Daniel 11:44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.
The the loud Cry will trouble him and he will persecute many .

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshiped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

5. The law was not enforced strictly on the first command
likewise the Sunday law would not be enforced by death the first time it arrives on the scene.

The time is not far distant, when, like the early disciples, we shall be forced to seek a refuge in desolate and solitary places. As the siege of Jerusalem by the Roman armies was the signal for flight to the Judean Christians, so the assumption of power on the part of our nation [the United States] in the decree enforcing the papal sabbath will be a warning to us. It will then be time to leave the large cities, preparatory to leaving the smaller ones for retired homes in secluded places among the mountains.


6. A second chance was given.
We are not sure what the circumstance will be in the end but this is said :

The two armies will stand distinct and separate, and this distinction will be so marked that many who shall be convinced of truth will come on the side of God's commandment-keeping people. When this grand work is to take place in the battle, prior to the last closing conflict, many will be imprisoned, many will flee for their lives from cities and towns, and many will be martyrs for Christ's sake in standing in defense of the truth.

As the decree issued by the various rulers of Christendom against commandment keepers shall withdraw the protection of government, and abandon them to those who desire their destruction, the people of God will flee from the cities and villages and associate together in companies, dwelling in the most desolate and solitary places. Many will find refuge in the strongholds of the mountains. . . . But many of all nations and of all classes, high and low, rich and poor, black and white, will be cast into the most unjust and cruel bondage. The beloved of God pass weary days bound in chains, shut in by prison bars, sentenced to be slain, some apparently left to die of starvation in dark and loathsome dungeons.--

7. The famous 3 had already made up their minds..
So in the end those who would of made conscious decisions and not waver will be sealed.

Satan is now using every device in this sealing time to keep the minds of God's people from the present truth, and to cause them to waver. I saw a covering that God was drawing over His people to protect them in the time of trouble; and every soul that was decided on the truth, and was pure in heart, was to be covered with the covering of the Almighty. Satan knew this, and he was at work in mighty power to keep the minds of as many people as he possibly could wavering and unsettled on the truth. . . . I saw that Satan was at work . . . to distract, deceive, and draw away God's people, just now in this sealing time. I saw some who were not standing stiffly for present truth. Their knees were trembling, and their feet sliding because they were not firmly planted on the truth. . . .

8. Disobedience was punished.

When the protection of human laws shall be withdrawn from those who honor the law of God, there will be, in different lands, a simultaneous movement for their destruction. As the time appointed in the decree draws near, the people will conspire to root out the hated sect. It will be determined to strike in one night a decisive blow, which shall utterly silence the voice of dissent and reproof

9. God protected the famous similarly Gods people will be protected in the end 3
Revelation 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

The people of God--some in prison cells, some hidden in solitary retreats in the forests and the mountains--still plead for divine protection, while in every quarter companies of armed men, urged on by hosts of evil angels, are preparing for the work of death. With shouts of triumph, jeering, and imprecation, throngs of evil men are about to rush upon their prey, when, lo, a dense blackness, deeper than the darkness of the night, falls upon the earth. Then a rainbow, shining with the glory from the throne of God, spans the heavens and seems to encircle each praying company. The angry multitudes are suddenly arrested. Their mocking cries die away. The objects of their murderous rage are forgotten. With fearful forebodings they gaze upon the symbol of God's covenant and long to be shielded from its overpowering brightness.
