Daniel 11:40-45 The last vision of Daniel is being fulfilled.
The King of the North(Papacy) is making his final great move to ascend the thrown of the whole earth, similarly to what the Vatican did from 538-1798 AD period better know as the dark ages same as the persecution of Gods people same as the Bible's time,times and dividing of times Revelation 12:14,Daniel 12:7 .
Time =360 days one Biblical year.
therefore time,times and half = 360+ (360x2)+ 360 x1/2= 1260

This is the 1260 years from 538-1798 of Roman Rule and persecution ,The inquisition of "heretics" by The Roman Catholic church.

So the last moves of the Vatican, The Roman Catholic church (Paganism baptized) is as shown in Daniel 11:40-45 is playing off before our eyes.

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab,( Apostate Christendom) and the chief of the children of Ammon.
42 He shall stretch forth his hand( Sunday legislation) also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt (The Whole World) shall not escape.
43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt (World): and the Libyans( poor nations,3rd world) and the Ethiopians( (rich nations,1st world) shall be at his steps (in agreement).
44 But tidings(news) out of the east and out of the north(representing Christ advent) shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many (Papal Inquisition renewed).
45 And he shall plant the tabernacles( (religious place of worship) of his palace(State power) between the seas (people) in the glorious holy mountain(Gods true church); yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him. (He shall be destroyed Rev 17:12-18,Rev 18:9-19).

Note the combination of church and state power in Verse 45 .
