God's Word the only safeguard.

It doesn't matter who gets into power or who is in power.What we know is when the gravy boils down in the pot the Papacy will rule the world.

Revelation 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

The papacy is working its way by stealth and many even among professed Bible truth believers will be caught off guard. Why ? The love not the truth. They will find them selves on the same side in receiving the reward of the papacy. Why ?

2 Thessalonian 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

"God's Word has given warning of the impending danger; let this be unheeded, and the Protestant world will learn what the purposes of Rome really are, only when it is too late to escape the snare. She is silently growing into power. Her doctrines are exerting their influence in legislative halls, in the churches, and in the hearts of men. She is piling up her lofty and massive structures, in the secret recesses of which her former persecutions will be repeated. Stealthily and unsuspectedly she is strengthening her forces to further her own ends when the time shall come for her to strike. All that she desires is vantage-ground, and this is already being given her. We shall soon see and shall feel what the purpose of the Roman element is. Whoever shall believe and obey the Word of God will thereby incur reproach and persecution. {GC88 581.1}


God gives his people a work to do at this time, But they backslide why because they are feeding on the diet of the world. Much sports much TV,Much entertainments, Fashion has tae. Isaiah 28:7-8.

Like in the time of Christ after the crucifixion the disciples went fishing.
Like of the time of Nehemiah when Israel was sent to build Gods house and restore the old paths. The people build there own mansions. See Haggai All for the details.

"I lay down my pen and lift up my soul in prayer that the Lord would breathe upon His backslidden people, who are as dry bones, that they may live. The end is near, stealing upon us so stealthily, so imperceptibly, so noiselessly, like the muffled tread of the thief in the night, to surprise the sleepers off guard and unready. May the Lord grant to bring His Holy Spirit upon hearts that are now at ease, that they may no longer sleep as do others, but watch and be sober." That is from the General Conference Bulletin, 1893, pp. 132, 133.


Yet multitudes are oblivious to the soon coming conflagrations.

"The world is stirred with the spirit of war. The prophecy of the eleventh chapter of Daniel has nearly reached its complete fulfillment. Soon the scenes of trouble spoken of in the prophecies will take place.--Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 14.

Yet many religious bodies think they are doing a good work.

"This is a time of spiritual darkness in the churches of the world. Ignorance of divine things has hidden God and the truth from view. The forces of evil are gathering in strength. Satan flatters his coworkers that he will do a work that will captivate the world. While partial inactivity has come upon the church, Satan and his hosts are intensely active. The professed Christian churches are not converting the world; for they are themselves corrupted with selfishness and pride, and need to feel the converting power of God in their midst before they can lead others to a purer or higher standard.--Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 65. {ChS 55.2}

There is a cause for alarm in the condition of the religious world today. God's mercy has been trifled with. The multitude make void the law of Jehovah, "teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Infidelity prevails in many of the churches in our land; not infidelity in its broadest sense,--an open denial of the Bible,--but an infidelity that is robed in the garb of Christianity, while it is undermining faith in the Bible as a revelation from God. Fervent devotion and vital piety have given place to hollow formalism. As the result, apostasy and sensualism prevail. Christ declared, "As it was in the days of Lot, . . . even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed." The daily record of passing events testifies to the fulfillment of His words. The world is fast becoming ripe for destruction. Soon the judgments of God are to be poured out, and sin and sinners are to be consumed.--Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 166. {ChS 56.1}

The sequence of events leading down to the Time of trouble and the rule of the Papacy has already begun yet many are in darkness.

May The Lord wake the sleeping ones to the things that are happening and the destructions and judgements soon to come.

Now is good time to set our sights on things above and to place our affections on the heavenly.
Now is the window of opportunity to put away sins and walk in the counsels of God's Word.
