God's Word the only safeguard.

It doesn't matter who gets into power or who is in power.What we know is when the gravy boils down in the pot the Papacy will rule the world.

Revelation 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

The papacy is working its way by stealth and many even among professed Bible truth believers will be caught off guard. Why ? The love not the truth. They will find them selves on the same side in receiving the reward of the papacy. Why ?

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

God gives his people a work to do at this time, But they backslide why because they are feeding on the diet of the world. Much sports much TV,Much entertainments, Fashion has tae. Isaiah 28:7-8.

Like in the time of Christ after the crucifixion the disciples went fishing.

Yet many religious bodies think they are doing a good work.

Satan flatters his coworkers that he will do a work that will captivate the world. While partial inactivity has come upon the church, Satan and his hosts are intensely active. The professed Christian churches are not converting the world; for they are themselves corrupted with selfishness and pride, and need to feel the converting power of God in their midst before they can lead others to a purer or higher standard.--Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 65. {ChS 55.2}

There is a cause for alarm in the condition of the religious world today. God's mercy has been trifled with. The multitude make void the law of Jehovah, "teaching for doctrines the commandments of men." Infidelity prevails in many of the churches in our land; not infidelity in its broadest sense,--an open denial of the Bible,--but an infidelity that is robed in the garb of Christianity, while it is undermining faith in the Bible as a revelation from God. Fervent devotion and vital piety have given place to hollow formalism. As the result, apostasy and sensualism prevail. Christ declared, "As it was in the days of Lot, . . . even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed." The daily record of passing events testifies to the fulfillment of His words. The world is fast becoming ripe for destruction. Soon the judgments of God are to be poured out, and sin and sinners are to be consumed.--Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 166. {ChS 56.1}

The sequence of events leading down to the Time of trouble and the rule of the Papacy has already begun yet many are in darkness.

May The Lord wake the sleeping ones to the things that are happening and the destructions and judgements soon to come.

Now is good time to set our sights on things above and to place our affections on the heavenly.
Now is the window of opportunity to put away sins and walk in the counsels of God's Word.

Space Between the Soul and Jesus.

--Those who are ever pressing a little closer to the world, and becoming more like them in feelings, in plans, in ideas, have left a space between them and the Saviour, and Satan has pressed his way into this space, and low, worldly-tainted, selfish plans become interwoven with their experience (Review &Herald June 7, 1887). {7Bible Commentary 949.4}

The Lord is about to punish the world for its iniquity. He is about to punish religious bodies for their rejection of the light and truth which has been given them. Those who truly believe in Christ will openly conform to the law of Jehovah. The Sabbath is the sign between God and His people; and we are to make visible our conformity to the law of God by observing the Sabbath. The many chaotic events around the world shows the gradual but sure withdrawal of the Holy spirit and protecting angels holding back the winds of strife.

Note the strife represents anything that can go wrong would go wrong as know in Murphy's Law but seen in examples in Job.

These are the very events this earth is reeling from at this time. Note, events similar to these have happen before,but never has this earth been confronted with impending war,natural disasters,financial crisis,moral depravity,mindless killings,riots,dissatisfaction in politics, global environmental catastrophe,natural disasters of large magnitudes. Not only are these things happening all over the world ,but the occurrences seems to be simultaneous or back to back as was Job's experience.

If one has to build a page of all the major calamities in the world that is happening now man-made and natural in nature you will have huge website.The earth is indeed catapulting to a climatic and fiery end, yet multitude are oblivious to the closing events of this earth's history.

The Bible says Noah preached for 120 years yet the people were caught unaware of the impending doom in the flood. Luke says.

Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.
28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

You see it is human to think if just one of these events of chaos is happening in your country,village or island then things are not so bad.
Remember the calamitous events are happening at this time around the world.Which is a small place compare to what is was 30 years ago. Is not the world a little place in the eyes of God?

Note the time of trouble mention in Daniel 12:1,Matthew 24:21,Luke 21:23,Mark 13:19 will be world wide and happening simultaneously.Just like Job's experience.

When the Holy Spirit has been withdrawn,that invisible individual of the Godhead, when He no longer restrain and pleads with the hearts of men,demons then will fully inhabit the minds and hearts of men. The French Revolution,the Rwanda genocide,the Hitler's torture camps,The activities in the Balkans will all seem like child's-play. Such is the nature of souls under the full influence of sin. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things , and desperately wicked: who can know it?

So what do we do ?

1. For one we should stop burying our heads in the sand and take cognisance of the coming judgements. Read Isaiah 24 all of it you will see.Luke 21,Matthew 24,Mark 13,
   
2. Take heed, before our merciful God sends Judgement he sends warnings,more than one, see Jonah and Nineveh Jonah3, Sodom and Gomorrah,Noah just before the flood,woes on Scribes and Pharisees (Matthew 23),Listen to the voice of warning as is presented in the Bible.
3. Glorify God in your flesh.Live righteously, soberly, abstaining from the Lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the pride of Life.1Corinthians 6:19. This also mean living healthy,abstaining from unclean foods and eventually moving back to God's original Edenic diet. There is a direct correlation between diet and spirituality. 1Corinthians 3:17.
4. Do what ever physical possible to move yourself and your family out of the city centres.This in particular requires much pray and direction. City and centers of dense population seem to be a magnet to Satan and his immoral influences. Get as far out as possible to country living where you can be at one with God. Where you can learn from the tutelage of nature which draws the mind back to Christ. All the scripture mentions above in point 1 tells us living in the city will be a dangerous thing as we enter into the close of the end of the world.Moving out must be done with all the care,but all the haste as soon as possible. Luke 21 says
31 So likewise ye, when ye see these things come to pass, know ye that the kingdom of God is nigh at hand.
32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Gordon Brown 'bigoted woman' comment caught on tape

Gordon Brown describes pensioner as a 'bigoted woman'

Prime Minister Gordon Brown has been caught on microphone describing a voter he had just spoken to in Rochdale as a "bigoted woman".

Sixty-five-year-old Gillian Duffy had challenged Mr Brown on a number of issues including immigration and crime.

As he got into his car, he was still wearing a broadcast microphone and was heard to say "that was a disaster".

Mr Brown later phoned Mrs Duffy to apologise after the tape was played to him during BBC Radio 2 interview.

After listening to the recording, with his forehead resting on his hand, he said: "I do apologise if I've said anything that has been hurtful."

The comments were made after the conversation with Mrs Duffy which ended with him complimenting her and her family.

Off camera, but not realising he still had a Sky News microphone pinned to his shirt, he was heard to tell an aide: "That was a disaster - they should never have put me with that woman. Whose idea was that? It's just ridiculous..."

Gillian Duffy: "I want to know why I was called a bigot"

Asked what she had said, he is heard to reply: "Ugh everything! She's just a sort of bigoted woman that said she used to be Labour. I mean it's just ridiculous. I don't know why Sue brought her up towards me."

Mrs Duffy, a widow, said after hearing of Mr Brown's comments: "I'm very upset. He's an educated person. Why has he come out with words like that?

"He's supposed to be leading the country and he's calling an ordinary woman who's come up and asked questions that most people would ask him... It's going to be tax, tax, tax for another 20 years to get out of this national debt, and he's calling me a bigot."

She had earlier told reporters she was a lifelong Labour voter and described Mr Brown as being "very nice".

BBC political editor Nick Robinson said it was a disaster for the prime minister because it showed the gap between his public face and private face.

"For those of us who have known Gordon Brown for many years, what we have seen is no huge surprise. He has got better and better at handling himself in public, but quite often he flares up in private, expresses frustration," he said.

Nick Robinson added that the irony was that if his comments had not been picked up, it would have been a lively election exchange which would have been seen to do him credit.

Brown: 'I apologise if I've said anything that has been hurtful'

Speaking on Radio 2's Jeremy Vine show, Mr Brown said: "Of course I apologise if I've said anything that's been offensive and I would never put myself in a position where I would want to say anything like that about a woman I'd met.

"I blame myself for what is done, but you've got to remember that this was me being helpful to the broadcasters, with my microphone on, rushing into the car because I had to get to another appointment and they have chosen to play my private conversation. These things can happen, I apologise profusely to the lady concerned."

Gordon Brown has since telephoned Mrs Duffy to personally apologise for the comments, telling her he was very sorry and said she "is a good woman".

When asked did this in any way make up for the comments she said "no - absolutely not".

'Resiliance'

A spokesman for the prime minister said: "Mr Brown has apologised to Mrs Duffy personally by phone. He does not think that she is bigoted. He was letting off steam in the car after a difficult conversation.

"But this is exactly the sort of conversation that is important in an election campaign and which he will continue to have with voters."

The Conservatives said Mr Brown's comments spoke for themselves.

Shadow chancellor George Osborne said: "That's the thing about general elections, they do reveal the truth about people."

Chancellor Alistair Darling said Mr Brown's apology was profuse and he was well aware he should not have made the comments.

"The election campaign will be decided not just on individuals but what the party stands for. There are big issues at stake. Gordon is a man of considerable strength, considerable resilience and considerable substance," he said.

"I hope people will judge him in the round. The fact we are coming out of this recession is down to him in no small part."

But tidings (the gospel message) out of the east and out of the north shall trouble
