Hey i was thinking today .. That the decision you made to move on is a good one .That move is a spiritually sound decision. It is one where God will not turn you down because you are disconnecting from a situation that can keep you from the kingdom..It is a move of faith and the just shall live by faith. God is rewarder of those who diligently seek him . The text says:
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him : for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
You will find as you venture out in faith and you get pass this one that more test will come requiring greater faith. Note it is God leading you into a total faith relationship but he is doing it in gradual steps...Bit by Bit.. Test by test... This is the time you need to pray more than ever .. I am praying on this end.
Remember most people will think the move is a ridiculous one ie those who are not Spirit lead.
1Corinthians 2:14 But the natural (carnal) man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Know this, God may also not work till you have put your foot in the Jordon River. He may not pull trough even till you are even wast deep, but stay firm on the goal. Be assured He will pull trough because the decision that you have made is one that leaves some stuff behind for a closer walk with Him. you have responded to a call to righteousness .Jesus could only be please with this move.
This scripture I heard repeatedly from my mother when she was alive.
Psalms 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
Yes we grew up very poor. I thank God for that experience . It laid the foundations stone of my relationship with God; an immovable stone, one I couldn't shake even in my rebellious period.
You could do it, trust God, Step out in faith. When you start walking on the water don't take your eyes of Jesus. Remember the direction you are heading is towards Him . He will take care of you. He will see you through.

Thank you royalblood..I am clinging on to his garment knowing that he is with me every step of the way. I see myself as being in the boat and sometimes the storm may get unbearable but as long as i keep my eyes on Jesus i know that i will make it through and that this boat that i'm in will withstand the storm. You have been a great source of strength and encouragement to me through this web site i have learned and continue to learn so much about the Lord and what his word says.
